@Omar Ching Chong No, it always felt mysterious. The atmosphere and vibe is entirely different, and the world seemed to be designed much more around exploration and discovery. Rag changed it because exploration and discovery only last a few playthroughs, a game with semi-randomized builds will last a lot longer. Changing the game to be more focused around different builds and replayablity isn't inherently a bad thing, but in the process Rag kinda neglected to actually make the game feel alive. Everything we were promised during Old Deepwoken _made_ it feel like it _would_ be alive. Guilds and Factions you could join that actually had a _purpose._ The game used to (or planned to) have missions and jobs you could do for progression that affected your reputation with various factions. They hyped faction rep to be a huge deal when in reality angry factions just attack you and refuse to talk to you, which doesn't really effect you at all. The only Faction with any meaning are the Etreans because when you get high rep with them you can get the duke key I guess, but even that whole quest is pretty bare bones. They made everything seem bigger than it was going to be. Or maybe they planned everything to be bigger than it is now, but obviously they fell far short.

Now we quite literally have a streamlined gameplay loop: go to trial of one, farm some island, go depths/bosses/pvp until bell and then get max level. Even the builds are streamlined, you know exactly what you need. The game just got discovered too quickly...
If you have Animal King, you actually unlock a unique piece of dialogue from the Deep Owl encounter where instead of responding like normal, they “tilt their head curiously.”

There’s a bunch of stuff missing here, though I only really know one thing myself. I found a giant structure in the middle of nowhere when sailing with a friend. We literally found the gateway to the other luminants and took some sick artist role-worthy shots. Sadly I was unable to send my art for whatever reason so no art role. Also there was nothing there, we couldn’t really go inside or anything so we just climbed to the top and took photos, then glided to the top of a nearby mountain to have an incredibly distanced 1v1.

I'm a freshie and the Deepwoken world for me it's like a mysterious universe in my opinion, talking to npc, getting money, exploring the sea, getting wiped, leveling up till level 3 then getting ganged up... I mean I'm still new but I love the deepwoken atmosphere

I'd argue that Deepwoken is a bandit beater. It's not as bad as _some_ out there, but we were lead to believe that progression would be more complex than "fight NPC." In reality that's all it is with a few extra steps. What happened to the missions and jobs during the direct? What happened to guilds actually having a purpose and specialization? Why did Ragoozer say progression would be "diagonal" when it's clearly just a straight goddamn line.
Surprising you didn't mention Isopods spawning in the Karliah quest Krulians can look like any race but no Aelita is not one The Time Bubble is a an Oath-ability not a Murmur as confirmed by Arch before The Stranger is unable to provide Tacet and is now just a (broken) enemy spawn
@@historicflame972 Obviously the Visionshaper abilities players get aren't set to what's possible in canon. Aelitas clones are Visionshaper abilities, Ferryman's arent. The teleporting is a pretty goofy thing but it's nothing the Ferryman does (that's directly related to their Thundercall again), Aelita's teleport makes the Visionshaper sound and either is an in-canon Visionshaper ability or is (more likely) to just be a way to implement Aelita's vow of no killing in a trickster-like way, not really many other ways to implement a non-lethal lethal option.
tbh if the deepwoken we saw in deepwoken direct was the current game deepwoken would've been way better. although more tedious it seemed much more fun (E.g. Isle of crows, mantra cores to have truly customisable spells, finding sellers of books to power up) seemed more adventure filled and less of a "bandit beater"

they needa bring some of the islands that were removed back to the game and give specific loot types depending on the island and there loot is not for stats but cosmetic purposes i feel like more varients of armors just as cosmetics but specificly for the island will improve the game alot since most of the players once high leveld all want is more dripped items in game but in return itd be cool if these islands were meant for high levels and not really grindable as a low level in other words very difficult. for example: isle of crows and meteor isle had so much work into it just so it can be removed?
Would bring too much lag to etrian luminant and most of them wont be used or be rarely used compared to the metas. Between some content that most people barely use or having no lag its obvious what would be better. Also lag is prob the reason why they make different layers for depths so it does not become a lag clusterfuck.

Theres no real method of actually getting it, its completly RNG. as a proof of that, i got it in 2 slots, on my khan on its 5th live by chance at lvl 15, and on my celtor on its first life at lvl 1. Aelita being a krulian : the reason people think that is 3, krulians are shapeshifters, so they can take any appearence they want, like how ferryman has the appearence of a etrean. Ferryman mentioned there are more krulians outhere on the overworld aside ffrom him, which we dont know who they are. and the last one, Aelita has the ability to teleport the player to any island she wants on the overworld. Thats literally not tied to illusion magic at all. (fun fact : arch had mentioned that something about aelita was retconned, so yes, theres still a chance shes not an ordinary felinor.) World Serpent : It is the largest monster ingame and Arch mage mentioned in the art channel that since the hitboxes were fixed, they'll add it back at some point soon. Adagio : Fake. the ability to slowdown time is unknown, it was never given a name. Akira's bell : Akira's Unique bell has the ability to instantly give insanity to someone, which is why he can insta-kill npcs in the depths. The Stranger : sadly, hes probably unfinished. since theres no charisma option when he spawns. Datewoken : ....i prefer not to talk about the things i've seen. meatlord>drowned gods : mate that literally a joke. why is it on a iceberg. horseshoe crab : this one is a little tricky, it IS still in the game as seen in the cutscene if you fail karliah's quest. though archmage can also spawn them. they basically steal your blood, they are extremally annoying and having 3 of them on you at once is enough to kill you , since they'll instantly drain your blood until you die. hope this will help explain them.

You can find isopods after getting the quest in etris and going to erisia near mudskippers, if you take the person into the cave, she gets attacked by them

met the stranger once at the forgotten warrior place in erisia, he just warped in with a visual effect onto the shore and talked about the authority as shown but for some reason mine didnt attack at all he just stood there i killed him and he sunk to the depths when i threw him in the water
ive seen Isopods before, its not when you make Karliah died to its. Maybe someone have made Karliah quest glithching and make the Isopods visible and it can aggro any others npc (1 Isopod have saved me when i have been knocked by an Authority)

ive seen Isopods before, its not when you make Karliah died to its. Maybe someone have made Karliah quest glithching and make the Isopods visible and it can aggro any others npc (1 Isopod have saved me when i have been knocked by an Authority)
