The shades of that Lincoln Ram are gorgeous!!! I can't wait to see you spin and knit that into something stunning!! Your spinning is so good!! I have yarn ready for Artus. I need to get moving!!
That takes real talent to spin with a cat in your lap! 😂 We have foxgloves come up in our paddocks and I'm forever pulling them out so felt a bit strange seeing them in your garden. Thinking maybe I should just leave them as they are pretty. 😊
If you have the space to give them, why not? This is my second year growing them, first time they have flowered. I hope they self seed well. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏼
Love that opener, Taylor. Just finished watching that series and that segment just made me lol although most of the rest of it had me in tears. I’m so very sorry for you, your dad and your family. That slow decline is so very hard and you have my deepest wish for finding peaceful moments. Wonderful fleece, beautiful spinning and I adore that waffle knit stitch. I just bought a used Kromski wheel like yours and I have yet to play with it. As always, your garden tour gave me great joy. I love foxgloves, too and the overall effect is just so pretty and serene. Thank you for a wonderful update!! 🧶
It is good you took the time to see your Dad, just take things slow and give yourself permission to take the time Taylor. it is hard period to go through. Your garden looks lovely and natural is better, I think when we get stressed we try to control what we perceive to be a "mess" around us. You will have some lovely moments knitting and spinning and enjoying whatever you can from the garden.
Would you be willing to show how you scour a fleece sometime? I really admire how you left the curls so beautifully intact! i’d have no clue how to scour without the stress of tangling everything into a mess
🧶🐏Love your garden tours!

What scouring soap do you use?
Mrs Meyers dish soap.
You are pedantic as I am in separating all the staples and sorting them.
