Hi, I see that just near the main screw, there is a weird little metal thing, what is it ??? Can we still put a camera on it like a canon or something, that seems weird
Haha !! This weird little metal thing is a centering pin for video cameras so the video camera is heading to the correct position for moving it with the tripod handle. This pin has a spring and is hidden if your camera does not have the proper hole...

IIf you need a remote you have to buy that seperately.. as almost all the tripodes...
Recently I bought this from a store. Was looking for a tripod specifically for my smartphone photography. They recommended this. But when I got home I realised that it's a video tripod. I have a smartphone mount (I suppose a 1/4") when I tried to attach the mount, there's a weird metal thing next to it getting in the way. Does that mean it cannot work with a smartphone mount?

Of course it is...The current tripod screw thread standard for attaching the camera is 1/4-20 UNC. Almost all consumer cameras are fitted with 1/4-20 UNC threads at the bottom.

Ναι! Το τρίποδο έχει το στάνταρτ 1/4-20 UNC σπείρωμα που έχουν οι περισσότερες φωτογραφικές και βιντεοκάμερες(Και η Nikon D5600).

@@maryv7825 Το τρίποδο έχει το στάνταρτ 1/4-20 UNC σπείρωμα που έχουν σχεδόν όλες οι φωτογραφικές και βιντεοκάμερες.. Δυστυχώς στα manual της Α6000 δεν αναφέρεται ο τύπος του σπειρώματος που υπάρχει στο κάτω μέρος της μηχανής,,, οπότε για σιγουριά θα πρέπει να το δοκιμάσεις πριν αγοράσεις. Ναι η κεφαλή γυρνάει κάθετα θα έλεγα εγώ .... όπως το βλέπεις στο 3:50....

Yes it is. It has the standard 1/4-inch tripod mount screw.
Με Canon eos m10 είναι συμβατό??
Το τρίποδο έχει το στάνταρτ 1/4-20 UNC σπείρωμα που έχουν οι περισσότερες φωτογραφικές και βιντεοκάμερες. Αυτή η Canon όμως έχει 3/8-16... χρειάζεσαι ένα ανταπτοράκι...

Φίλε Κώστα, Αν θέλεις η μηχανή σου να κουμπώνει σε οποιοδήποτε τρίποδο θα πρέπει να πάρεις αντάπτορα. Όλα τα τρίποδα έχουν την βίδα 1/4-20 UNC, άπλα μερικά ίσως να έχουν ΚΑΙ αυτή τη βίδα της Canon... ( εγώ δεν ξέρω κανένα).
