The single outlier being last year (that was injury ridden) We've averaged a total of 69 points a season over the past 8 years. That would have got us top 4 the past season, but with injuries we ended 8th. So weirdly enough, I'm going to trust we get top 4 based off the past 8 years, not the past 1 year.

Seem to be sleeping on Newcastle. Tonali banned all year, 3 games per week, most injuries in the league and still got 7th, 9 points from ucl. Long term injuries to key players too like pope, joelinton botman, Wilson, willock, Barnes, trippier etc. tons of long-term injuries to important squad players for us too like Murphy, burn, Anderson, lascelles, krafth, livremento. Isak missed games and played injured for large part of the season due to having no Wilson available. This year all players back, 1 game per week, some squad upgrades etc. They'll be going for top 4 no doubts.

I think Villa will be much tighter to Arsenal and Liverpool this season. Was with them until the new year last season but injuries, lack of squad depth and Europe saw them fall away.
