In this conversation we are going to talk about their new book “Playing God with artificial intelligence” published through Camden Media
The book is a 438-page tour-de-force that will educate the leader and the interested about artificial intelligence (AI). The book isn’t just a book about AI, Dean and Sarah-Jayne pull together the strands of the technology changes over the last 20 years to place them in context with the AI opportunity as we walk into the 5th industrial revolution.
We discuss, the transformation that business needs to undertake to embrace AI, how AI will impact industry as well as looking into the future. When will AI be sentient and what will that look like?

What was the inspiration for the book?
At 438 pages it is a tour-de-force, what would you want the leader to learn.
In my view it isn’t just a book on on AI you have pulled lost of the threads, IOT, manufacturing into one place was this about giving the reader a wider context to the 5th industrial revolution?
There is a constant reference to “Zavier” through the book, explain to us the context of this?
What is the impending transformation to work with AI as you see it?
How do you see it playing out, is the future bright? What is the reality of artificial intelligence?
Explain to me what an artificial neural network is?
How will AI impact industry? (You can give a general answer or pick a vertical)
At what point will AI be sentient?

I agree: I like PRACTICAL BOOKS. This #TimTalk is very good, and applicable today. The Grattons are very interesting.
