9ft. of 10lb. fireline - leave a 16in. tail
size 10 beading needle
14 - 4mm round beads
20 - 6mm round beads
20 - 8mm round beads
11 - 10mm round beads
8/0 seed beads
11/0 seed beads
wire 20g or 18g
chain
jump rings
clasp

This is a great tutorial and I love the design! It has given me so many color combo and theme ideas. It kinda reminds me of creepy alien pods or egg sacks. I was thinking orange pearls and green/ox blood tohos for the netting, or maybe red pearls with black netting. I'm super excited right now lol.

I don't know if you can do this, however...
First off do you know if this variation (of the filled netted stitch) is of your design only, or did you learn it elsewhere? I ask because if you are the first person to come up with this variation, have you considered inquiring about publishing the design with Bead and Button Magazine or any other such publication?
My next question is, if you would consider publishing it, CAN you do so since you've already put this out on TH-cam?
Just curious to know, because (as I'm a designer myself) I was impressed by the simplicity, and elegance the design itself presented.... That and, if legalities can be sorted out, (with TH-cam and whatever publication you choose) I feel there's no harm in getting
published, and PAID provided there's no infringement invovled.

Alisha what brand of beading needles do you use? I cant seem to find a size 10 that appears to be as long as the ones you use. this is a beautiful necklace I will have to collect all the beads and try to make this. Thanks for sharing your talent with us!
Thank you! I use tulip beading needles and beadalon. I like the tulip more because they stay straight.
