The reason people watch these videos is because we want to learn what you're teaching. We're not bored! Thanks for sharing with us. Good video! I will definitely be making some of these.
Thanks, Rhonda. It's good to be reminded that I have an appreicative audience. Sometimes you forget that when you are talking into a camera in a room all by yourself wondering if it's going to long or if anyone will even watch it!! I appreciate you, too!
You are not boring, you are very sweet. I love this project and am going to my craft room right now to make it. I have all of these supplies from Stampin' Up! Thanks so much for some inspiration.
Thanks, Alissa!! I'm glad you are going to make this ornament. It's really quite sturdy considering that it's made out of paper! Have a great day and hugs - Kay
Ha, ha! You are not boring. In fact, I got half way through your video on my smartphone while waiting for food earlier today and I came to TH-cam tonight just to see the rest of it! It looks so lovely and I really want to copy it! The ribbon looks just beautiful. Yes, please keep making videos for us!
I'm so glad you are enjoying the videos. I share all those extra tips quite naturally . . . I can be quite the "know it all" once in awhile! lol! Hugs - Kay
+Barbara Comette Awesome that you made it all the way through and stayed engaged!! lol! That is my goal and so refreshing to hear that you made it! Hugs! Kay
That would be a beautiful ornament this year with the snow flakes! Love the video and it wasn't too long at all. I truly like to see people make cards, ornaments and other scrapping projects in real time. Sometimes when you watch the videos and they have took so much out then I feel like I just make too many mistakes, or I have too much trouble doing simple task sometimes, but the truth is we are all human and can't be perfect all the time. You can make a beautiful bow, I'm still working on that. LOL
JoAnn Higginbotham Thank you so much, JoAnn, for your kind words. I truly appreciate it. Have you seen my bow tying video: th-cam.com/video/akgRUs6uBl4I/w-d-xo.htmlt might be helpful if you are struggling. Have a wonderful day!! Hugs!
Thank you, Barbara. I agree with you. It was a wonderful way to make rosette medallions and Christmas ornaments. Fortunately, Stampin' Up! made it even easier this year for us because we have the Be Merry Kit on page 32 of our 2017 Holiday Mini Catalog. Those rosette ornaments are every bit as stunning and much easier to make!! Hugs!
+Kay Kalthoff ...this is beautiful!! :) I have already (fairly recently) subscribed to your TH-cam Channel...and I was scrolling through some other tutorials and came across this one. I see you made this video back in 2012...so it's no wonder I don't see any of these products in the SU catalog any longer. Too bad SU still doesn't have that beautiful red seam binding ribbon any more. Or the stamp set....or...or...or!!! lol I actually love all the products you used...and I'm curious if that large Sizzix die is still available for purchase. PS....I didn't find your tutorial too long...and I've enjoyed watching this one as well as other tutorials you make. You have a clear and pleasant voice to listen too. TFS!! :)
Thank you, Sharon! I enjoyed reading your comment. I do wish things never had to retire!! I don't think any of the products shown on this video are available to purchase anymore. But, the IDEA is there and sometimes that's all you need! I appreciate you! Hugs!
Hi Kay, Was just watching your video again and I love the rosette. I bought the rosette maker but mine doesn't score nd cuts it all, do you have a tip for me.
Jenny Senior Hi Jenny! You need to use the Premium Crease Pad!! That is what we use when the cutting plates cut right through the score lines. You can find the extended crease pad on page 224 of the current catalog. Hugs and good luck!!
