David luiz is way better, I used manolas If for 200 games and he is such a beast : strong, fast wins nearly every header but his passing is really a problem... I thought passing is irrelevant for a center back and normally this is true but his passing is on bronce player level... Sometimes it cots me goals because it is so bad... So I wouldn't spend more than 300 k for a defender who has got only one eye... So guys I hope I can help you to think about it before you do the sbc
I really don't get how this "grind" is considered a good idea. The 81-86 packs and 81+ league specific packs are a waste of coins. Even if you have a considerable amount of tradeable cards, it is nowhere near enough to build enough packs to pack enough useable cards for the SBCs. I must have built about 100 81-86 packs and got back a small amount of 84+ cards. A majority were rare players from useless leagues.
Grind bronze packs, sell what sells, and what doesn't sell you up-grade to silver's, then gold, then rare gold then you use those to upgrade to icons if you get good cards. The bronze packs will also get you some expensive players (over 3k coins) as well as squad fitness cards that sell for some coins. You also get training cards if you play division rivals. It's just bronze pack method with extra steps. Takes a long time.
Hoping on a Midfielder or attacker ''Cheaper'' SBC :D like 100-150k.. (Like i did the Futmas Bruma card and the headliner Carvajal) Really nice cards for not that expensive
They aren’t releasing the new icons because they know they can still sell packs from it. When the packs dry up then they will allow you to SBC it. Pretty much 90% of their decisions are to do with money. Like probably more. Which I get because they have to make money. But they might make more by concentrating on the experience more.

I did like 60 of them now and i got : 6 84s, 4 85s, 1 86, 1 otw batsh and 13 83s...i'm very happy with these packs

Two possibilities. If his 86IF stats are all still higher than the upgraded 85 stats, it doesn't get bumped up. Or they screwed up.
