Wonderful kingfisher and other bird observation footage. A big LIKE from me. Greetings from Singapore. Happy birding!!!! 👍🔔
Thank you!
Wow! The hours are paying off, Neil. Fabulous.
Thanks Emma, certainly did on these visits!
Wow, superb footage, Neil! 🙌🏻
Thank you :)
Well done indeed. Brilliant and entertaining footage, Mike
Thank you
Incredible footage
Thank you!
Stunning footage
Thanks 😀
Excellent footage - not seen better! And I have never seen juvenile bearded reedlings either! Wow, what a treat! You had a brilliant time there!
Thanks, it was certainly a productive 3 visits! I've glimpsed young Bearded tits a few times, but not all huddled together like that before!
All about assessing what you're being given and thinking ahead with shot sequence - there is my life in totality lol. Great stuff Neil. Si.
Indeed - just need to "practice what I preach" more now!
Thanks :)
Absolutely outstanding! I had a professionally guided kingfisher hide workshop half a day and returned extremely satisfied. But this video shows all I didn't get in my workshop - therefore your video is really great!
Thanks, I got pretty luck as they were behaving differently each visit so got a good variety of behaviours :)
Amazing footage.
Thank you!
Great footage! Thanks for sharing! Looks like a nice place also 😊
Yea is a good site and not too far away which is always a plus :)
What can I say Neil. I love your behaviour footage of the Kingfishers, and the wee beardies are super cute. Keep up the postings as I need the content more than ever after breaking my collar bone, elbow ( wired back togeather again) and damaged the softtusue in my hip. Thankfully all on the left side. Going to try some one handed photography in my garden today with a tripod, OM-1, 300mm and the 1.4TC.
Thanks, and Ouch - hope you heal up soon!
Hope you got on Ok with that set up, quite light for the reach available and what I've used to film insects in the past
Cracking video: thanks a lot.
Thank you :)
Fantastic, one of the best video footage of Kingfishers I've ever seen.
Thanks, that's very kind :)
Great film Neil
Thank you:)
Amazing!
Thanks!
Wow that fight!!
Love your videos! Are you able to get linear manual focusing on the GH6 and Olympus 150-400 combo in video? I may buy this lens!
Hmm good question. i did successfully use the focus limiters on my focus wheel, not sure its true linear focus though. Ill try to test it properly
Sorry this is a tangent. Have you filmed the symbiosis between the bumblebee and Jerusalem sage? As the bumblebee enters the flower it triggers the anthers to pop out and deposit pollen on the bees back. Great behavior to see and should be quite easy to film. I have spent my morning photographing bumblebees and Jerusalem sage pollen distribution. The Jerusalem sage is just coming into flower now in Dorset.
Nice! Im once again looking at plants online, after buying some Lambs Ear for Wool Carder Bees after one of your comments - are you secretly a viral advertiser for a plant nursery or something? lol
