I am you and you are we. Welcome to the shpongleverse. We are all one and all is nothing, but everything is shpongle. Hope you had a good trip my friend, may we meet again on kind roads like this one
Shpongle is truely Magic! I dont know if the music induced it or if it have coincided (Spelling?) With some natural progression, but listening to shpongle, I have had several "experiences" while meditating. The music maker is a genious and seem to have a feel for the unseen... Cool :)
@Vivaan Archerbe carefull ....there's always a price to pay...the organic hard drive included in the DNA, which is the karma will remind you.... at some point
Still creating new mindbending and uplifting music after I have first time listened to Shpongle's Behind closed eyelids 1998! Raja must already be 200 years old by now,if I calculate exactly, and that is amazing, too. Tbh I do't listen to Goa and Psychedelic Trance anymore for about 15 years now...exept to Juno Reactor (that is a completely different story) and Shpongle... and Simon and Raja never disappointed me.
I get this almost Klezmer vibe from Dr. Vinklestein and it's really fun. Something I haven't heard in a while. This is a fun EP. Wish it was longer, but that's a regular for artists who put out shorter albums.
God's finest music creation? Aren't you taking away some of the credit from Simon Posford and others who actually put the time and effort in to produce the music?
been with shpongle since divine moments. i regret not seeing raja before he became too elder to perform live, but it seems perhaps his sonic journey will continue! i certainly hope so

It's so terrible that news of new music in the scene travels so slowly... Especially if I unplug for a while. I love shpongle I need to work harder to stay on top of his releases. My favorite thing is to shatter people's minds by introducing them to his music.
I love Simon's music dearly. But I'm curious, does anyone else feel that many of the tracks from album to album is beginning to sound the same? I understand that the Shpongle project is a thing unto itself, with no disrespect to you Simon. Your a master blaster. But as an artist myself, I welcome kind constructive critique from my peers.
The repetition of some of the artistic techniques that brought you popularity can be traced among many authors. It's not that scary until all the songs start to sound the same.)))
Raj is literally dying. How the fuck can you expect the man to produce on his deathbed. You need to to look inside yourself at the seeds you sow...the fact that they produced anything new is a gift, not a curse.
@@madhem9529 As far as we know at the moment, he's battling some sort of illness, but the variety has yet to be released. Either way, the man is quite old. Not sure how many more years on this earth he has :(
First 3 albums is Shpongle. After that Si and Raj seems chosen the wrong path. Try to be like Shpongle. Maybe he listened too much his own records, stuck on to it by too much live sessions. Missing memorable melodies, techno acid rubbery Arp 2600 synth, and analog console sounds, classic digital multi-effects.., minimal mixing design, great sample choosing selector, what made Si trademarked sounds, techno, goa, and psychedelic. This alienation happens everywhere! Even on audio electronics fields. Great underground musician done great things with just a few holy instruments, like mpc or sampler without grab a mouse or looking monitors, and overcrowded by too many possibilities of modulars and instruments! This is not an offense. Even the greatest spirits can be misguided by consumerism.

Fantastic album, moving forward, not backwards.
I was not expecting new shpongle tracks since they announced no more live shows, only DJ sets. Super happy about this
Simons DJ set is incredible though
wow I'm already trippihg out with just this music and a beer... lol

Their last album was from 2017. So the world was ready to be Shpongled again
I'm going to a trip, see you on the other side!
The third song really comes out of nowhere!
That ska outro in Dr. Vinklestein tho, good shit

Good ol' shpongle. Nothing like having a dozen holographic sonic elves kick the living shite out of your brain.

this is the fate of most authors
The only way to make new music is to explore new methodology...I think the misguided one is YOU, brother...
Blah blah blah
Same for me, shpongle stopped at his 4th album, ineffable was great too, after that the sounds changes to something more generic
Disappointing. I don't think they'll ever top 'Nothing Lasts' or their debut.
