I appreciate you being so transparent about your struggles. It lets me know that I am not the only one who can 'lose it' and feel down. You are a beautiful soul to share this. Hugs
Thanks Mary Lou. I do it because there are a lot of people that struggle at one time or another and I didn't want them to think it's just them. Here's to a happy March! 💕
Hi Lori! - I am behind on flosstubes, but yours was at the top of my list!! I absolutely love all of your wips and I think the Eye is on the Sparrow would be a lovely wall hanging, and the ornaments are just so beautiful! I am starting my first sampler after 45 years of stitching. It is a Rosewood Manor pattern called Blue Rhapsody. I have collected many of them but I have so much to stitch and not enough time! 😂Thank you for being real with us and sharing your journey of grief and healing - it helps to have people to talk to and to share with as you walk through this time of your life. Praying for you. 💗
Thanks very much Lori for your kind words. I'm glad I can share with viewers because I know there are others who are struggling and want them to know they are not alone. Good luck on that Sampler. Rosewood Manor designs some beautiful patterns! Have a wonderful March and happy stitching. 💕
I thoroughly enjoy ALL your videos...PLEASE don't change a thing!! You are a GREAT FT....don't listen to go these other HATERS!! I am in the same boat with you...I forget something in 2 seconds(I'm 71 yrs. old)! Thank you soon much for sharing your progress on your WIPS and your FFO's!! I don't comment always, but I am watching your FT's!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2024!!
His Eye Is On The Sparrow sampler is beautiful and I love the size.😊 My favorite piece today...a hard choice from so many nice things. That red cardinal caught my eye too. TFS
Love your videos!! And boy, can I relate to forgetting where things are after cleaning up, and being down about things. . . I am guessing that the fact that I turned 70 is related. God bless you, Lori!
How do you feel affection for someone you’ve never met? If we were neighbors, we’d be best friends! It’s always a pleasure to sit with you 😊 I need to pick out a Brenda Keyes pattern soon! They stitch up soooo pretty, those colors! Take care friend ❤
Thank you for your video. You are always a pleasure to spend time with. Even though we think of ourselves as strong, we can all struggle with different things, at times. It's just life. You hang in there kiddo. All of your stitching is so lovely, and it looks to me like some you made lots of progress. I think what you said about printed fabric vs. dyed is exactly correct, and I do know Picture this Plus fabric is known to shrink. Take care and happy stitching!
Lori, you are such an inspiration to me, not only in your stitching endeavors, but also your life’s journey. I believe you and I are very close in age, so we have lived a myriad of ups and downs. I appreciate your honesty. It makes me know I’m not alone when I forget a word, a conversation, etc. A wise friend of mine (a psychologist) assures me that the longer you live, the more data piles up in your brain. She says you have to give yourself grace and let it go! Sorry this is so long. My real question is: What do you stitch on? A hoop, QSnap or a stand?
Hi! So happy to see you again. Love all the Paddy’s day things, I have 1 lol best get stitching. The gift of Libby’s name is so sweet, how kind. And oh I understand the memory lapses! I like the bird one, I am planning to do that one day. Yes I have done that with the length aNd height and if close I try to see which looks right but sometimes it is hard! Wow you have a lot done! Oh she does look smaller, interesting. Argh red house, hasn’t seen the light of day in awhile. I participated in full coverage February but to be honest red house still wouldn’t have made it lol. Yes we too are expecting rain. Have a good time until you’re back! I don’t even know how you do all you do, I don’t have patience or stanima to watch the kids, although our younger grandkids now live 6 hrs away. Their dog passed away yes so sad days at their place as explain why zuri isn’t back to an almost 3 yr old.
Hi Cindy! I know how difficult it is to explain to a child their dog isn't coming home. Sorry for their loss . I know that fabric shrinks during the dying process. I usually stitch on 28 count but I wonder if that was more like 32. Have a wonderful March. Happy stitching💕
The pictures on the patterns don't always look that good, then I see your stitching and the colours are so cheerful and bright. You inspire me to do someone them.
Great video Lori. Always fun to see your stitching. Being Irish I loved the St. Pats Day things. 💚 You have a lot on your plate you will have quieter times ahead everyone struggles at times it just doesn’t look like it on social media. We just need to give ourselves a little Grace.when we struggle.Take care and Enjoy.......
I so enjoy your floss tubes. Your St. Patrick pieces are darling . Part of my ancestors came from Ireland so I like St. Patrick pieces. Having lost both a daughter and my husband, I certainly understand bad days. You are going along and all at once it hits you. There are a lot of us dealing with loss. Sharing helps so you feel free to share on bad days. I hear you. Love and prayers.
Thank you Barbara for sharing your story and for your understanding. My heart breaks for what you've gone through. But though we miss them all so much, we have to go on for the others in our family. Love and prayers to you as well. 💕
Hi Lori, thank you for sharing Your stitching, it was I who asked about BABY Its Cold Outside, love it so have put an order in. I always get excited when I see you have a floss tube up always very entertaining. I mentioned to my husband that I was going to tidy up my craft room and he reminded me that I will not remember where I have put things, so it stays a bit of a mess LOL. Love and Hugs.
Grief affects your short term memory, so please do not beat yourself up over it! It’s one of the natural responses our brain does while trying to cope with the effects of loss. I’m praying for you and your family as you go through the grieving process together.
Lori, your “Sparrow” sampler is stunning. I put my “Consider the Lilies” in time out for a couple of years. You’ve inspired me to restart mine on fabric that is easier to stitch on. I don’t know what I was thinking when I chose the 36. Your projects always look so beautiful-thank you for putting so much time and effort into your videos. They are a joy to watch!❤️ 33:01
So glad to get to catch up on my Flosstube viewing. I have had to work a lot so haven't had much free time to watch, but seeing all your beautiful work has been a treat tonight. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for brighter days ahead.
Hi Lori, I love your videos. You are so relatable and real. Thank you for reminding me that I am not alone in my struggles. I enjoy all your stitching projects and get inspired to finish some of my own projects. I think your finishings are really creative. Much love and hugs to you and yours. You are a treasure to me.
Thanks so much Joyce. I decided to share because I know there are others who may be struggling as well and wanted them to know they are not alone. Hugs 💕
Hi, Lori! I always enjoy visiting your floss tube! I know what you mean about putting things away and then not being able to find them later. I do that all the time. It can be very frustrating. Thanks for sharing. 💜
Love seeing you. I enjoy all the cross stitch you do. It's so beautiful. The pillows were so cute. I love them. I need to learn how to do them. Can't wait to see you again.
Love your video as always! You are such an inspiration to me! Your sampler pieces are just gorgeous. Please don't get so down on forgetting things, it happens to the best of us as we age. I know from experience, LOL
Beautiful stitching. Love all the videos you do a great job. I have finished the Baby it’s cold outside too, I still need to fully finish, love how yours turned out. See ya soon.
Lori, thank you for another great video my gosh you’re always so busy girl I just feel like I’m slacking I haven’t done anything lately I’ve got to get back with it I’ve got some new pattern so maybe that will inspire me. God bless you and your family and if you don’t have another video Have a happy Easter.
I am so glad you are doing better! I often get down and depressed, and watching floss tube helps, especially yours! I have been reading a Bible verse everyday on the Holy Bible app on my phone, and it is very uplifting. So very thankful the Lord is there for us. Your stitching is beautiful! Have a great week! Love you! ❤
Thanks so much Kelly. My daughter-in-law Rebekah, Libby's mom, sent me a picture of Jesus holding a little girl's hand as if he was leading her to him. That's what I want to believe to get thru the difficult days. Blessings to you 💕
So happy to see your video come up. Even though I subscribe if a bunch of different videos come up they knock the others off before you see them especially when working. It might explain why people miss their name being called. I love all your projects. Have a great two weeks.
Yes, that's why I thought I'd give them more time to watch. But I did find their comment and told them to watch the video where I called their name. Hopefully I'll hear soon! Happy stitching💕
I recently found your flosstube. I look forward to watching them whenever they come on my feed. Thank you for sharing your cross stitch projects. It inspires me. I work with children all day and my hands are in the water all the time. I struggle with the cuts also. Putting cream at night time really helps but I always forget. Happy stitching.
Lovely to see you again today love to see what you have been stitching. I have been stitching a lot just can not seem to make a video I start crying at the weirdest times and do not want to cry on video. Hopefully with spring things will brighten. Happy stitching dear friend Patty
I always enjoy seeing your lovely stitching! Speaking of March Madness, I would like to know what you are looking forward to stitching from the Nashville Market? Happy stitching!❤
Hi Linda, nothing is on my agenda right now. I want to see what others get and stitch to see if I like it. Trying to stitch from stash right now. Happy stitching💕
Hi Lori, I think a silver bell would really look good on your ornament. The cardinal is perfect the way he is. I love your 2 big samplers, but my favorite is Cornwall Cottage. Those colors just pop off the white. Thanks for another great video. Happy Stitching. ❤❤❤
Hi Lori, always a lovely time spent watching your flosstube, so many beautiful projects to be inspired by. Have a great blessed weekend filled with lots of stitching time 🎉❤xx
Love your gorgeous stitching as always! I’m glad you are feeling better-grief is such a complex unique emotion. You have to deal with it in your own way. Sending you huge hugs! You are a very special lady and I throughly enjoy your flosstubes. Thank you for sharing with us!
Now I’m curious about the middle stitch on the dresser! The one with all the houses. Could you show and tell us what pattern that is. Thank you in advance!
Hahaha. I had to go back and watch the video because I had already pulled a lot of the finishes off the dresser. That is a Prairie Schooler - I believe it's called Prairie Village. Happy March💕
Thank you so much for sharing yourself and your beautiful stitching. Your video was just what I needed to hear to remember other people are struggling too. Hugs, love & prayers.
Hi Lori! I always enjoy when you come into my living room and share your beautiful stitching and stories with me 😊. Glad you’re feeling better. Grief is a hard road and sometimes we just don’t understand why things happen. Thank you for sharing with us.
Hi Lori I had Major Serious Surgery last month so that is why I have not been making Videos for the last few months. I almost did not make it. My Surgery itself went fine. When I got in the Recovery Room I was having trouble breathing so they had to keep me Sedated. I was in the Recovery Room for two hours instead of only one hour. They took me back to my room after my Breathing got so much better. I was in my room for quite a while before they woke me up. That Monday Night of my Surgery I got to go home. I had Surgery on the 12th of February. My Pastor stayed with me at the Surgery Center that entire Monday until he brought me back home. My other Pastor who was a former Nurse was at my house waiting on me to get back home. She stayed with me that Monday Night until she knew I was safe enough to stay by myself and to know I was okay. That Monday Night all I did was take a Pain Pill and slept in my Recliner. The first week of me being home it was rough. As Each Day came and went it got better. I am in Therapy and My Church Family and my own Family has been helping me and giving me their Support. I had a small tear on top of my Rotator Cuff repaired and I also had part of my Collar Bone cut off due to Arthritis in my AC Joint which is on top of the Shoulder. I now have a metal small rod in my neck where he cut my Collar Bone Off at. Everything was done on my left side. I am left handed too. All of my Friends are amazed at how well I am doing and at how fast I have been able to do things on my own but Cooking and Driving. I am in Therapy. It’s going to take 6 months to a year for me to be completely healed up due to my Collar Bone. I love all of your Finishes and your WIPS. You are making great progress. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵❤️
Oh Linda, I'm so sorry to hear everything you've been through but I'm also happy to hear you're doing well as far as recovering. Bless all the people who have been there for you and blessings to you as you continue to recover and get through your therapy. Prayers to you as you continue to heal. 🙏💕 Hugs
Another nice video. Aww, that sweet gift looks great with a white frame. I try to organize my craft room & then I can't find things, you're not alone. Hand-dyed fabrics do shrink, and designs become smaller. I agree with adding commas, correcting punctuation & spelling, some actually spell words wrong!!! Have you seen some of the Nashville Market releases? Any Favorites?
Hi Lori, love your videos. Most 3verthing you stitch I want to do too. You mentioned that you washed your aida to make it softer, do you put it in the washing machine ? Thanks😂
You have the Alice by Tralala on your wall behind you, what color did you do her dress and the bow? The chart says to use Soot but I think that was a error on the chart, I think it should be blue or dungarees.
Lovely projects. I hope you are not wearing yourself out with all your babysitting. It seems this year your babysitting time has really doubled. I pray you are doing well.
Thanks so much Lynn for thinking of me. Children grow up so fast that before long they'll all be in school and I'll hardly see them. Yes, I do get tired by the end of the day but it's ok. Happy March💕

The Lavender and Lace does seem smaller on the first fabric you stitched it on. You are stitching on some very pretty patterns.

Hi Lori
I had Major Serious Surgery last month so that is why I have not been making Videos for the last few months.
Take Care & Happy Stitching

Oh Linda, I'm so sorry to hear everything you've been through but I'm also happy to hear you're doing well as far as recovering. Bless all the people who have been there for you and blessings to you as you continue to recover and get through your therapy. Prayers to you as you continue to heal. 🙏💕 Hugs
@@OnceUponAStitch - Thank You Lori so very much ❤️🤗🙏🧵🪡🧵❤️
I just love all of your projects and your stitching is beautiful. Always look forward to your videos. Have a wonderful March❤
Thanks Vickie! Happy stitching and happy March! 💕
Your videos are so special and love seeing your beautiful stitching. Happy stitching
Happy stitching💕
Another nice video. Aww, that sweet gift looks great with a white frame. I try to organize my craft room & then I can't find things, you're not alone. Hand-dyed fabrics do shrink, and designs become smaller. I agree with adding commas, correcting punctuation & spelling, some actually spell words wrong!!! Have you seen some of the Nashville Market releases? Any Favorites?
Hi Dee, there's nothing I want right away from market. I'll wait and see what others get and start before I make any decisions. Happy stitching💕
Hi Lori, love your videos. Most 3verthing you stitch I want to do too. You mentioned that you washed your aida to make it softer, do you put it in the washing machine ? Thanks😂
Hi Kelli, yes, I wash it in the washing machine with my regular clothes. Happy stitching! 💕
You have the Alice by Tralala on your wall behind you, what color did you do her dress and the bow? The chart says to use Soot but I think that was a error on the chart, I think it should be blue or dungarees.
I am a new sitter. How do you wash your Adria before Stilton it? I just don’t want to mess anything up.
Hi Lori! Can I ask you were you buy your charms from for cross stitch pieces? Is there a website to visit. Enjoyed your video today! Thank you!
Hi Diane, I do a search on Amazon for jewelry findings and they have all different occasion charms. 💕
