You and David never fail to create charming, wonderful videos. Nigel fits so well into the Sodor universe, and I love his interactions with the other engines. Plenty of references to old stories, but with new twists that fit in seamlessly and make the story all the more entertaining. So nice to see Bear as well. Always a treat to watch your content.
+Toby's Windmill (Flouncing Fiddlesticks) Thank you :). I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I think Nigel has really started to become a favourite among our fans and the best is yet to come :)
Nice to see Nigel make friends with Bear very quickly instead having a brief rivalry with him which the whole episode would focus on until the part when something unfortunate happens to Nigel where Bear helps him and then by the end of the episode they become friends.
How the heck was this four years ago? Feels like it was only a few months! Still, I enjoy coming back and watching this story arc. Nigel is a brilliant character!
I do love that hot boxes seem to cause so many issues. Realistically a bit of oil and a bit of time to leave it cool, some slow running to start and it'd be grand. Once there's been no damage by the hot box.
Well done mate. You interpreted my story beautifully, capturing an early blossoming friendship between two very different engines. The camera work was effortless and the music was edited perfectly. Wasn't too loud, nor too quiet. This one might be my favourite so far that we've done. A nice simple story that's come together rather well.
Great third part and love the fact how Nigel has met engines named after animals. First Duck and now Bear, whoever will he met next who's named after an animal.
“If we passed over our duties to diesels like Bear, then we left British Railways in good hands.” I can never imagine a steam engine saying this, and I’m proud of Bear and Nigel.
All the feels! What a great story, love the edition of moving eyes, the involvement of Bear was interesting, and I guess Nigel was right when he said that if BR ran with diesels like him, the railway was in good nick. Well, he left with diesels like D199 still in service :P
Not bad, though there could've been a bit more screenshots for the smoke incident. Gordon's really had a bad day, that's for sure. Also, it's nice to see Nigel make friends with Bear. Wonder if he'll meet Daisy, BoCo, and other friendly diesels.
+DarthWill3 Thank you I'm glad you en :) I agree I could been more scenes with the smoke incident. Also did you receive the lines I sent you for an upcoming episode
What a great tale for Nigel. His friendship with Bear is developed slowly in this story and it shows just how well he can trust Bear just when the incident at the station happened. I'm impressed with how the smoke in the station was made. Did you get that bit from a real life accident fact from somewhere? :)
0:51, ah, yes, a very cheap building technique for room in stations, non existent platforms! passengers can have all the room they want, without more room being built!

"Oh my Gresley!"
Nice one Nigel, I'm gonna use that saying from now on ;)
same goes for "Oh, thank Gresley!" too lol
+James Williams Hey, I thought the J50 was originally a Great Northern design?
Morgan Pollard That's actually a good question.. I know little about the J50 but it's definitely one of my fav rail locos
Lol

+dcg12b Thanks mate :) I'm impressed with the outcome of this latest video my editing and filming skills have gotten better :)
It maybe a couple years to late but I love how Nigel has a sort of ptsd and his panic at first seems so natural
Part 3 was spectacular, and as always DCG12B did a fantastic job both as writer and narrator. Definitely worth the wait! :)
Great third part and love the fact how Nigel has met engines named after animals. First Duck and now Bear, whoever will he met next who's named after an animal.
+Nickolas Montagnino Gator?
Rheneas Oh I forgot about Gator, it's too bad that no one has made a trainz model of Gator.
Nickolas Montagnino Mallard? They're both Gresley built engines
E someone has
TrainzEmpire has made Gator
I love this guys way of speech is so calm fluent and i get lost in it
Ah yes 12 coaches for Gordon to pull in one train the usual recipe for disaster is the typical platter of the Sodor cuisine
This is such a lovely story
“If we passed over our duties to diesels like Bear, then we left British Railways in good hands.” I can never imagine a steam engine saying this, and I’m proud of Bear and Nigel.
Nobody tell Nigel that diesel hydraulics were phased out too.

Where did the model of Nigel come from? and who made it?
+PotatoFairy93 WarshipNo10 made Nigel and it is a private model
ShunterProductions Alright then. I must say he did a really good job on him.
+ShunterProductions How many 2010 green express coaches can you fit on the Knapford station platform.
Elsbridge productions Your talking about season 1 express coaches right?
Yup.
I like the line Oh My Gresley!
The funny thing is that it's actually August bank holiday weekend in a couple of weeks
Brilliant work, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I love the use of music in this episode. Keep it up mate!
Amazing job Mate. This was brilliantly filmed, and I liked the moral of the story. I await more videos from you later on in the future ;)
It would be funny if Nigel met diesel that would be an interesting story
Nigel has really become a fan favorite but good job really that episode was really good and I hope that you can continue to make these videos
Is it funny that I just found out that Nigel sounds exactly like Terry the BR Standard Class 5 from Jimmy The Jinty from dcg12b!😂
Lol I love what duck said after sit topham hatt said what else can go wrong
Also how did you get the wheels to slip?
+Weeshing Weekly I used invisible buffers you can find them on the DLS
+ShunterProductions OK thnx
What is the music playing, when Nigel is struggling into the station?
3:46 didn’t Boco make fun of Gordon, James, and Henry last episode?
what was the smoke, how was it caused?
Not bad, though there could've been a bit more screenshots for the smoke incident.
Gordon's really had a bad day, that's for sure.
Also, it's nice to see Nigel make friends with Bear. Wonder if he'll meet Daisy, BoCo, and other friendly diesels.
+DarthWill3 Thank you I'm glad you en :) I agree I could been more scenes with the smoke incident. Also did you receive the lines I sent you for an upcoming episode
ShunterProductions
Where?
I inboxed them to you
I send them again I don't think they went through
ShunterProductions
Never mind. I got them.
Also how did you get the smoke?
Gordons pulling 9 coaches instead of 12
Gordon doesn’t have twelve coaches; he has eight.
I couldn't be bothered adding 12
What is the name of the theme in the minute 9:02
henry's forest theme
Does Nigel have anymore stories coming up?
+Anna Schmange There is one more story to come
ShunterProductions sweet! Cus I like Nigel!
Great story!
I give a 10/10

Another great video.
Love the GWR
why are there 2 faces on the guards/drivers/firemen?
just don't question it
but i wanna know and its funny
matthew cain actually idk
i wonder why that happens
matthew cain lol
I have to admit, having Nigel meet Bear was unexpected. But, it's still enjoyable, nonetheless.
0:51, ah, yes, a very cheap building technique for room in stations, non existent platforms! passengers can have all the room they want, without more room being built!
the part that makes me upset is that James didn't bother to help Nigel from the smoke.
Guess too much ashes in Nigel's smokebox then?
i counted 8 coaches instead of 12 for gordons train at 1:00
Gordon only has 8 coaches
nice work man
12 coach train? I only counted 8.
where's the rest of this? if there was a way I could identify one video from another, I might not need to ask this. Is there a key word or something?
+Boxcarwillie2002 (Whistle Stop 2247) This is the third story. Nigel's first day is the first story, Three lessons learnt is the second
ok thanks :)
Where do you get Nigel?
+Warship Productions Nigel is a private model
Ok, I didnt know, this is the first time I watch your amazing series.
Wait I have that same train in Hornby! LNER 8920!
What Does Oh Greseley Mean
Nicholas Blaschke Gresley was the designer of the LNER j50s he also designed the flying scotsman and in the world of sodor he designed Gordon
Oh Ok
I'm not sure but I think he also designed Ryan
Animal names. Duck, Bear, Toad, Gator, who's next?
Xandardorf Mallard!
@@galahad6300 Mallard? What do you mean?
@@onetrackmind3558 The Locomotive Mallard, the fastest steam engine in the world, and its named after a bird.
Why didn't James offer to help Nigel when the station was filled with smoke?
"I don't want to mess up my glorious red paint" is normally the reason
+Steamsmith GG That, and he has an open cab and likely didn't want to endanger his crew.
+Paula Milarchuk Probably too scared.
Most likely didn't want to endanger the passengers
The one you don't dress is diesel himself
Who narrated this?
dc
+LNERWS Bob Who's that?
+Weeshing Weekly nickname for dcg12b
+LNERWS Bob Oh yes now I recognise that voice
gordon is said to be pulling a 12 coach train when there was only 8
+stephanie fitzgerald That's true, as said in the description their would be a couple of editorial bloopers
+ShunterProductions its alright anyone could make that mistake
oh no its the end of steam
oh no no no i'm just replacing gordon til he gets better not replacing gordon himself
you serious?
Noice :)
Nice :D
Oh nigel
1:09 umm its 8
Why is a north eastern loco a scouser?🤣🤣
that not bear ,bear is D7101 but this bear is a D3
D3 is Bear's NWR number look at the last pages of enterprising engines
@@ShunterProductions oh yeah I forgot about thus comment I don't really know too much about it back then
Ooops!
1:09 that’s 8 not 12
well aren't you observant
@@ShunterProductions I just like to point out goofs
@@Thatspuremental At that couldn't be bother adding 12 coaches when I did the filming but that was quite some time ago
