RIP Mr. Eddie money so many classic tunes definitely one of my favorites Trinidad he never got the recognition he deserved I’ve seen him so many times in the 70s and 80s on bills with bands he shouldn’t have been on one of them sticks in my mind was Eddie money Blackfoot 38 special Eddie open the show but these people in the crowd weren’t having none of it they were throwing cups of beer at them but he kept on playing and their band kept on rocking he was an ultimate professional a lot of people would’ve just probably walked off that stage and cussed the people out but not Eddie
Seen Eddie over 30 times always great. Should have been inducted into the Rock n roll hall of fame 15 years ago. Lucky to see hie 2nd to last concert at Pine Knob in Michigan
Me and my kids saw him so many times. I was honored when he said "At this point I've seen your kids so much that I'm their Godfather." He was so much fun to watch!
That’s called class brother, saw him 28 times in four different states, he always was great, funny and brought a member of the military and local police on stage for a thank you- one classy American patriot....
Jimmy Lyons a guitar prodigy from outside of L.A in the late 70s. that guitar hes playing kinda looks and sounds like and early version of a EVH axe...
@@restlessbreed10 The guy is amazing. Bands are usually sloppy on the road or just bored to death of playing the same tunes over and over so they dont put 100% into it. But if you listen to this version with headphones you can hear the entire band is truly hitting the note. VERY good job by all of 'em, especially Eddie and Jimmy.
On another note. How exciting it must have been on her shakedown cruise back in 44' and the boyz ready for the danger zone to come. (CV-18) down around Trinidad.
"My cousin in Trinidad won't get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you're comfortable with ur decision, not bullied," Minaj added. lol
Eddie had a unique voice. No one else sounded like him. His voice fit his music perfectly.
SO. GOOD. This is his best song. Rest in peace, sweet prince.
Agreed. 😊
It is but his version of "You really Got a Hold on Me" is Fantastic as well!
Holy shit, his live band KILLED it!

I can close my eyes and this song takes me on a journey to Trinadad. The music at the beginning sets the scene of where I am and off I go.

That’s called class brother, saw him 28 times in four different states, he always was great, funny and brought a member of the military and local police on stage for a thank you- one classy American patriot....
That's funny I noticed that too. Graham Bonnet traditionally wears a shirt and tie. Buck Dharma used to wear a suit.

Anybody know who the lead guitar player is?
Jimmy Lyons a guitar prodigy from outside of L.A in the late 70s. that guitar hes playing kinda looks and sounds like and early version of a EVH axe...
@@restlessbreed10 Was he on the original studio recording?
@@bobbyboykin7137 Yes Jimmy was there from the beginning all the back to two tickets on his debut album

@@bobbyboykin7137 I guess it really comes down to timing if you got that in rock n roll you got it made. And great guitars always help as well...
Eddie was bad as fuck live
AT 3 minutes ....to be in the back of the room then.....

1980s. Coke and Eddie money. Not much better
