I just did a video on the Garmin Baja race edition in my Canam X3.
3D printed a mount and worked out great.

I bought this unit and my 4 garmin riders couldn't see me on the map because they didn't have the same model of Garmin???

I am seriously considering ordering one of these to replace a Montana 700 I bought. It turns out that is does not do what I need for here in Southern New Mexico. I tried to call your customer service to get some information about the basic vs something like the SXS and the woman who answered the phone had no idea what I was talking about and would not put me through to any one who did. She said I could only use chat and it knowing my luck, I would end up talking to the one who taught her. I had to explain to her a few times what I was asking about. I like your website and the products you offer to go with the Maverick Trail DPS we just got, but you really need to put someone on the phones who is informed and knowledgable about the products you sell.

The only real difference between the Garmin Tread base and SxS Edition is the display size. The SxS Edition comes with an 8" display while the base Tread unit is a 5.5" display. Hope that helps!

They just came out with a SxS edition with an 8 inch screen. Pricey but looks good so far, I think it also has a faster processor.

Allow other garmin devices to track Tread

Most important part of this is to link up and know where other riders are.
Why do you not allow all Garmin devices to link up with this device? ...
This only allows TREAD devices to link up!
So, know all my friends have to buy a $1300 Tread device and scrap our Garmin 755 $750 devices that doesn't connect ?

This is a marketing scheme. This should be able to link up to ALL GARMIN GPS like my 755T which has group ride!
