I started playing this video the second day I got my bird and he loves it so much.

Thanks for this, I am including this as part of the enrichment for my new budgie Geoffrey. He seems to be soothed by it. I am making sure he gets entertained every day. Cannot yet get him to enjoy fresh foods like in this video. I will keep on trying, I guess he will eventually. I have added a veg mix (dried) to his seed, as he ignored the fresh chop that I made. Patience is the key, thanks for this. he is a year old, and aviary born, so harder to hand tame, but there is no rush, and hoping he stays healthy and happy. he ignores his toys still also, and I have him in a decent big space. Gorgeous little birds for sure x

Did he ever play with his toys an munch on the veggies? I found that if you have another friend for him, they actually will mimick, play with toys, eat different foods. Good for them to have playmates.

I took my mail parakeet to the vet yesterday they gave me antibiotics and pain medicine for him this morning I found them dead in the cage and I have a female parakeet that's still alive and she is crying for him what should I do for her

@@Heldofo I was only wanting to check before giving to my budgie, I'm not use to lettuce with a stalk. Im more used to iceberg lettuce here in Scotland and it doesn't have stalks.
