Hello. I have a question here. I have problems with getting visa. So, I decided to take telerotations. They are very different and some of them are really expensive and from big universities. I am really confused. I do not know if spending money on expensive ones is a waste or I can build good connections and use theLOR from the big universities to improve my chances of match. I would be really thankful if you could help.
Hey Doc , an FMG here , I have just started my USMLE Journey and I'm already 6 months down internship, with just 6 more months to Graduate i will miss the chance to do electives before Graduating, can you give me a good suggestion on what to do now ?
@ishwarichandran Can you please tell give me a list of hospital accepting imgs for electives?? I am struggling in this field now? Currently doing electives in a clinic in u.s
Some rotations may need step 1 (differs from one place to another so you can check before applying) You don't need a visa for telerotations as you dont have to travel
Congrats on passing step 1! Yepp, there definitely is a chance w a high step 2 ck score. Focus on the other parts of your application as well (like USCE, LoRs, Step 3)
Hey hi , You and your videos are commendable and helpful beyond expectations. They provide highly important information thats very difficult to finds for people like us . Can you plz reply to me and share the template for telerotation or bless me with you telerotation LOR. In desperate need of help !
Just wanted to get one thing cleared, how do i do electives while I am still a medical student, i mean how to take out dedicated time for USCE while I'm still in med school, how much time does one elective takes, can i do an elective when i have my vacations from med scool, kindly guide!
During your medical school, you have summer holidays of about 2 to 3 months take out this time to do usce, or tele rotation, if you do 1 each year that's 3 usce and 3lor
@@dr.1956 OMG thanks alot , I was so confused about it, moreover, from which year onwards, should i start doing electives, since in first two years of med school, we have very little clinical relevance. In my home country we have 5 years of MBBS.
@Dr. is right! You can plan it during your breaks (I did mine similarly too) Each rotation is typically 4weeks long so it's almost like 1 LoR for 4weeks You can try scheduling them based on your breaks after you complete your preclinical subjects

Is research (publications) is mandatory for IMGs to match into lM,FM, pediatrics?
Not mandatory but it may help to increase your chances of matching at academic programs since it’ll show them your interest in research

Brooklyn USCE offers observerships with Hands On experience in private clinics, are those Externships?
Yess
Yep!
Thanks really helpful .Which hospital did you rotate ? Or you did only tele ritation
All my rotations were virtual due to COVID
How much it usually costs for Clinical Rotations?
Does it matter during the visa interview to have rotations with doctore who is a program director?
Hmm I don’t think so
Do telerotations. Do we have to put in the CV that it was telerotation
I did
Is it important to give step 1 before applying to these rotations?
it's better cuz it builds your knowledge base and you'll be able to contribute more. Also, some rotations have step 1 as a requirement
Mam is it possible to do residency in us after pg in Germany🇩🇪
Can you advice what feeds/ accounts to follow on twitter?
Inside the match!
hey...so did u get recomendation letter from ur university??
Yes! Got one from the Chief of IM at my university's hospital!
Hii, what about step 3 is it compulsory before matching?
Nope!

I’m so sorry, I don’t quite have a list :(
If our institution is not affiliated with vslo, how can we apply?
There are places that don’t need VSLO. Alternatively, you can request your uni to apply for VSLO
Hii
Is step 1 required for applying?
Also plz tell about visa status required to mention for telephonic usce

For usce?
I only know about the ones I’ve used. Can’t quite comment one the ones I don’t have experience with. I’ve spoken about them in this video!

Agency! Since most hospitals were not accepting students directly due to covid
mam plz name the agency @@IshwariChandran
Mam are MBBS 1st and 2nd yr books helpful for USMLE?
Depends on the books. I majorly used just videos for my USMLE prep
Hyy.... I got 211 my step 1 score... Is there any chances of matching into internal medicine with better step 2 score
