It’s a third party issue here. My husband left me, asked for a divorce saying he is unable to trust me. It's the truth. Being codependent I have had difficulty having self love and not putting others first. It's true my happiness depending on another accepting me and loving. I am healing and learning boundaries. Over 40 yrs of doing this it takes time but I still have love and moving on. When in reality, YOU created the happiness chemicals in your own brain. He just happened to be in front of you (or in your thoughts) when you created those chemicals.
So even though it probably feels like they made you happy, that's actually impossible, because they aren't connected directly to your brain.
So YOU made the happiness. All they did was give you the circumstances to get you to allow yourself to have the permission to create the happiness chemicals.
You actually made yourself happy. And then gave them credit for making you happy.
