12 APOSTLES - From Hermitage to Nature Reserve (Calimani Mountains, Romania)

The video presents briefly the tourist path that connects the 12 Apostle Hermitage to the 12 Apostles Geological Reserve in the Calimani Mountains (Romania). This is probably the easiest way to go to the well-known nature reserve 12 Apostles provided you can reach the Hermitage with a strong enough car. The Hermitage is 13.5 km away from Poiana Negrii and 27 km from Vatra Dornei. Poiana Negrii path - 12 Apostles Hermitage - Lucaciu Peak - 12 Apostles Nature Reserve is marked with blue point. From the 12 Apostles Hermitage to the 12 Apostles Reserve are only 3.6 km (about 1.5 hours), and the level difference is less than 200 m (1590 m, the Hermitage and 1760 m, the Reserve). The path passes under Lucaciu Peak (1770), where there are also strange rocks that also belong to the 12 Apostles Reserve.
