This was my first game in broken arrow a couple of days ago, tried a drone heavy RU deck...which didn't work lol
it can work if you can get your Sead Missles on target but manpads and passive AA make it difficult, the SU-25 with atgms are really good at taking out tanks if you fly them low
Yeah, drones are effectively useless, as most people have found.
There might be a strategy to get them to soak up long-range AA, freeing up your planes, but I suspect the points cost would be too prohibitive to be effective.
You could also try to use them as bait, together with SEAD, but overall I think putting weapons on drones is basically flushing points down the toilet.

I think it's hilarious how the Patriot, a radar guided missile, gets confused by flares
Probably also 'chaff' in intent, and easier to just treat them the same for in game mechanics.
Just wait until this dude finds out you can drop both chaff and flairs at the same time
that's spot is my favorite place to play on that map. such a valuable area to hold, and if done right can win games. maybe that's why I lose all the time 🤣
The row of building in front of the park? Yeah, it's great for infantry to effectively deny any pushes across the centre of the map, but it can be countered very easily with arty.
You really need your teammates to be switched on, either helping you to push at the sides, or doing counter-battery, for it to be properly effective.

0:50 ok how do you play against someone that has recon in your backline and is lasing your artillery?
if you notice you are getting countered out of nowhere, you need to just sweep your back lines and flanks to find the enemy recon

Yeah idk why Russian units are immune to atgms and missiles. Should not take 7+ atgms at once to kill a t15. Pluss that MLRS tickling at tos is a bit dumb. I definitely feel like Russian atgms and arty only takes 1-2 hits maybe 3 at max to kill any us unit. It certainly can’t tank 3-4 in a row. Not even the sepv3 can
damage values will definitely need some rework for sure
