You are a very kind person Robert. It is so generous of you to take care of your Mother. Your sisters should be helping, too. WHere are they? You have built a very valuable farm on the mountain. You are a multi-millionaire in Vietnamese dollars. it is not right that you should have to leave the mountain farm behind.
Your Mother certainly enjoyed the fresh cooked maize. I imagine it tasted delicious and was very good for her.
May I suggest you find another dog for Mao Mao so he is not lonely and they can both protect the farm.
Buy yourself a motorcycle so you do not have to walk to the mountain. That is too far to walk every day. You use to much energy and time.
You have built wonderful trenches and hills for your sweet potatoes that run across the slope. I hope when you go back the the farm full time, you can build trenches and hills for all your crops. Use the cut corn stocks to build the hills. Lay them on the ground and pull the earth on top to make a bigger hill. Right now, the cut corn stocks are going the wrong direction. They must go across the hill.
The broccoli and cauliflower that you planted in your garden must be watered. There is not enough rain. Don't waste the seed. Use your hose and water them 2 or 3 times a week .

Hi Robert....Thank you for another great video. It seems you stay not too far from your mom's place. The track back to your mountain home do not look familiar. Anyway it is good to stay near to your mom's place and to have some company.
Hanging vegetables to dry in the sun looks so beautiful and they are so easy to pickle. It is a difficult task daily for you, taking care of your mother, animals and general farm duties.
Mao Mao is such a good dog. He is guardian of your home when you are not around.

Bring your Mother clean mountain water to drink - and encourage her to drink a lot of water. Do you know any plants that make healthy tea? Can you harvest them and bring them to your Mother's to dry? That is another way to encourage her to drink more clean water. I would not trust the municipal water to be anything like your clean mountain water. ♥
If you compare the water in the plastic container at 35:20 to Roberts mountain water - you will see there is no comparison. Robert, I suggest you bring all of your water for cooking and drinking down from the mountain. You can not know for certain what dangerous chemicals are in the village water. You can use the village water for washing, but all of your cooking and drinking water should come from the mountain, please! ♥

It can't be easy dividing your time between caring for your elderly mum and looking after an ever expanding farm - tending the crops and meeting the needs of all the livestock. Mao Mao deserves a medal, loyally guarding the farm in your absence for lengthy periods of time. He's worth his weight in gold.
I know it is easier said than done, but you must take good care of yourself. Your mum and your farm need you to be strong, happy and most important of all, in great health.
