      This thing is fun, man! You can create pretty fast on it! Especially if you've already got some keyboard-ing skills 😆 and any sound can be turned into an instrument 😎

    Super inspiring video bro. Thank you!
    I just got my 37 keys the other day. I really like it. Kind of feels like I’m back on my ASR 10 with the MPC all in one. Will probably pick up a record player and some vinyl thanks to this video too. lol

      Awesome! 😎 it is fun! Never got. Chance to try the ASR10 but it always intrigued me, so that is cool to hear. 🍻 thanks for the comment! 🙏

    Hi Lifted Noise, great video. I was wondering is there a way to sample from external source directly to the MPC Key 37 or 61 key, keybed like on the ASR10 and Triton keyboards with out using pads? I'm use to those keyboard workflows I only want to use the pads for drums. I only want to assign samples directly to the keys not the pads.
    If so could you show or explain? Thanks

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sure, but this is exactly that process. The samples are loaded into a keyrange. By default, it sets your sample at C3 and stretches it in both directions to fill out all the octaves. You can assign multiple samples and manually set the key range for each sample. It's all displayed in this video. If something wasn't clear lmk and I'll see if I can clarify.

    Bro, is this a technique (multi-sampling), I could use for multiple songs? For example, I want to sample a few lines from one song and then a few lines from another song? Can you come up with a tutorial for how to sample a verse from one song and another verse from another song to play them in track? Even, that, as well. Can we sample multiple songs in just one track as well? Thanks Bro. That rhythm and poetry segment was FIRE!!

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks man 🙏 I think maybe sampling and assigning to a drum program might be easier. Doing a keygroup sounds unnecessary for this. I think the main thing would be determining your tempos for those verses and time stretching them both to match your beat.

    Great video!!! Can you please tell me what's the maximum number of keygroups you can make (how many different samples I can import on my keys). Thanks and best regards!

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Do you mean keygroups per keygroup? Meaning how many samples within a single keygroup program.. if so it is 128 kg per keygroup plus each kg can have up to 4 layers of samples. So that's 512 samples per keygroup. The limitation will probably be determined by the length of the samples and how much ram that takes up.

    • @duxmania984
      @duxmania984 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@LiftedNoise I still don't have any personal experience with MPCs, but this little beast caught my eye and I want to get one.... literally, can you load a different sample (mostly one shots) on each key of the keyboard or does it have some limits? I need some keyboard sampler for live gigs (some experimental stuff, lot's of various glitch samples trough the keyboard.) ... there are no keyboard samplers on the market at the moment, the last one that I know of was Korg's microsampler, but its possibilities were very limited). I know that MPCs are much more then just a samplers which is great and I have to say that your videos are inspiring and very detailed about the capabilities of the machine. Thanks

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @duxmania984 thanks man 🙏 so yes you could do that but keygroup programs are for pitching your samples across the keys, you could do what your asking, I displayed that in this video, each sample can be assigned to a single note or a key range. I think if you are using one shots with no need to pitch the samples like an instrument, you'd better of using Drum programs, you can assign individual samples to pads, the pads will still correspond to a key, also just checked, you can select where to load samples with the keys, without using the pads. I think this could definitely be the piece of gear you need brother! Thanks for the comment 🙏🍻
