Honestly I think JoJo and bezerker purposely threw cause they didn't want to be on that sinking team. Watch bezerker and JoJo join a different team and come back next split in form
@@rwwars6948 I'm sure Jojo will still play well next year if he gets a team. But he won't be making nearly as much money and will have to grow up if he actually wants to be a winner.
@colin5197 I honestly don't blame him, ofc he is acting immature about it. But he's 18, I know how I would react to my team being absolutely passive and scared to make plays. And the fact that no fist fights happen (I think) it's more mature than what I would handle it.
Ultimately it's C9s fault for bringing in JoJo, and thanatos who are clear play making main characters, playing with a blaber who c9 spent the last 5-6 years nuderering (old blaber would work perfectly with jojo and thanatos)
Vulcan who backs behind carries everytime a TF happens (no seriously, watch every teamfight that c9 has that vulcan doesn't engage on. He will literally click behind his carries. He acts like he doesn't want to fight at all)
And bezerker, who spends most of his time walking to a better position. He clearly doesn't trust vulcan.
This C9 team was built on old NA stupidity
@@rwwars6948 I think most of the problems were off the rift. No true team leader, lack of accountability, tardiness, etc. And then these things showed up in game when the team just looked like 5 good solo q players trying to play a team game.
@colin5197 I don't think JoJos attitude and tardiness was the problem, it's merely the result of the actual problem.
C9 drafted all main characters.
Simple as that, look at the teams who placed 1st 2nd and 3rd.
Now look at the teams who placed 4th and 5th.
Super teams. JoJo immaturity isnt the problem, it's 5 different players with different ways to play. And they all main characters, so they won't change. There will always be push back on everything they do.
I can see JoJo saying "dude why should I go to the draft prep meetings for scrims. I'll just show up to the scrims and you can tell me what to play. You won't take what I have to say seriously anyway, and blame me for losing"
I would put absolute bank on that is exactly why he showed up late.

Yeah, love it when a pro plays what they apparently enjoy playing rather than whatever the meta dictates is strong.
Like when Bugi pulled out Evelynn after SR had been knocked out but still had games to play... AND WON WITH IT!
I'm sure there are reasons this is such a rarity (and usually only after a team's been eliminated), but as a fan it's so much cooler when we get to see it happen!
@OneWingedRose u literally just said... they do this when they are already eliminated and aren't playing for anything. That was very common in the old format.

@OneWingedRose why would they troll a game that matters? Seems kinda counter intuitive... this is a job after all, they are "professional" player, not "casual for fun" players.

Cut the kid some slack on the language, he's the youngest player at Worlds right now. As for the effort put in, we can't judge too much unless we're the ones watching the team play scrims

It’s the fact this kid just seems so carefree after putting a performance like that. Those performances are the reason na is no more, their performance is accountable for people losing jobs etc, obviously it’s not just them but everyone plays their part. I find it funny and stupid that they seem to not care even in the very end. Also you watching the games rn?
@@mrpipper7271 I am watching the games, they're objectively inconsistent across matchups. The frustration is understandable, I feel it as well. They're not burgers though, unless you're betting money on them, in which case good luck
