While I try to setup the xplanar and download it into my runtime, Severity Code Description Project File Line Suppression State Error 7/25/2022 6:53:33 PM 358 ms | 'TCOM Server' (10): 'XPlanar' (0x01010010): [Error: 0x33170002] Setting state from PREOP to SAFEOP failed (hr = 0x9811070c) error is shown. Is that any additional setup that i missed?? Thanks and BR!
I'm currently working with XPlanar at my local university as a project, but because of the lack of required documentation on the Beckhoff website I haven't gotten it to work yet. When will the next video come out? Because I need it soon ^^. Also an example with a physical setup would be nice!
This seems fun, wish for a project one day, but the chances are slim to none, as the applications for these are really niche, maybe in PCB manufacturing or medicine. I know Jakob was hurting when he saw the nCase, wish you had interrupted him to use the local enumerator :p . Loved the alt+select, didnt know it existed, will be a time saver in the future :) Looking forward to the last part!

I like the way he does the variable naming. It’s consistent with all the other Beckhoff examples. Clean and easy to read.
Just for anyone wondering about BTNs, it stands for Beckhoff Traceability Number : )
How was the location measured, was it a table lookup, or was it based on some algorithm?
