18 days until my Spanish speaking exam, hoping to use these higher level tenses in my exam thanks for these, hopefully i can get 54/60 as that was my mock result!!
Thanks, this is awesome! One thing I'd add is an example in English above the conjugations so we can easily keep in mind what the difference in the tense means. It's so difficult to keep up with what the tense names actually mean. Thanks again!
@thepenguinofspace9291 Hey! It didn't go to plan, I'll be honest! Mine was 9am, so i was first and extremely nervous! Like my voice and everything was shaky and i made mistakes i dont nornally make - my teacher herself said she was nervous for me😔😗 However, i think my other exams will make up for it, hopefully! How did yours go, if u remember
at 20:19 were you not meant to write habiamos with escrito (idk how to put the accent) because we are talking about imperfect tense of haber not present? Maybe i am just confused because its my first time learning the tenses so can u plss correct me if im wrong Also during 29:06 is it not supposed to be Bailo or vendo because in the present tense the ending are those?
@astarspanish Hi james, I'd just like to ask what tenses I don't need to know for foundation spanish edexcel because I've heard that some aren't neccessary, I rlly need help to in spanish bc im on a grade 2 currently, is there anyway I could just get a grade 4??
You can double check on your specification, but at least around the first half of the video is applicable to you! Maybe don’t pay as much attention to reflexive verbs and subjunctive!
Why do some people and you pronounce the "-s" like "-sh"? Is this considered a more prestigious accent? I've noticed that Real Madrid President Perez Florentino also speaks that way.
There’s 2 main accents - that of Spain and that of Latin America. Have a look at spanishdict.com, their pronunciation tool shows the difference in both accents. I would say neither is more prestigious, just geographical differences!
how should i revise for reading and listening tomorow because im not sure how, the only things i lose marks on is by not knowing a couple of odd words like ones that we dont get taught in vocab sheets
This is amazing, thank you! My personal problem is with memorising all the grammar rules; it's hard because you can't really use flashcards like you can with vocab. Are there any techniques you recommend that help with learning all these rules? If not I'll just stick to writing them out by memory :)
Boss. This is great - perfect balance between conciseness and teaching it to a high quality. Thanks so much. 👔
exactly what we were going for, thanks for the comment!
Of course, this is easily the best GCSE MFL resource I've seen so far. There is definitely potential for a big channel here.

Lucky me to find this summary and this quick explanations for each tenses which ı need! 🙏
at 28:39 you said it was the present tense endings but isn't that -o in the I form?
Only the I form is different, as the o is the same for ar/er/ir! What is said in the video applies to everythung but the I form!
This is an amazing explanation of all the tenses, hopefully I can get an 8 with this knowledge !
Thanks!
A SUPER THANKS!!! 🤩

It's more about how irregular past participles work, than the actual tense. Hemos is just the present perfect, instead of the plurperfect!
thank you so much save my life🎉
