This song was No. 1 when I was 10 yrs old during the hot summer of 1983. I was on hoildays in Banna Strand, Kerry with my family, it brings back so many happy memories...played it on the jukebox every day!
This is one heack of a song & a classic & one of His best ! By far !! Came out in 1983 ! That was a great yr for music & lots of good movies as well ! I’m glad I was around back then ! I was in My teens during the eighties ! What a good decade !
i have listened to this as long as i could remember my mum used to listen to it for hours and hours i love it and whenever i listen i jus sit there and vibe bro omg

Back when I was in the navy, we had a port call in Peru. The bus that shuttled me from the port to Lima had this song was blaring on the speakers. Good memories! Thanks Rod!
Wow, that rolonón, love the sax and the unmistakable voice of Rod Stewart master. With this song I remember a cousin who lives in Santa Monica California. Greetings my dear cousin wherever you are.
Currently working on a covers album, and we *had* to do this one! Miss the hell out of the 80s…except the sax solo lol. That’s one aspect I don’t miss 😂
There are still bad days. But I feel like I am in a better place physically and mentally now 10 years later. Thank you for caring, regardless of the time passed. I hope you are also well, i send you a big hug.

I never really had paid attention to the lyrics of this magnific ;) song, they're actually very good and flowing perfectly with the beat!! and I can certainly relate to them as for everyone else I believe, thanks Mr Stewart for such good music!!!!

i searched this song for a long time and finally now i found it. this song is my childhoods song and it brings back good old memories and really it makes me cry all the time when i hear it. this song is just UNBELIVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really got back into 80s music a few months ago through Phil Collins (Paperlate!!) and somehow this song popped back from my memory. These are songs I heard on the radio when I was only 10 years old, and, being Dutch, obviously didn't understand the lyrics. Now, hearing these songs again, they are a great mix of recollection and new appreciation. It's really amazing how productive this era was in creating great and unforgettable songs.
My budgie used to dance to this song when it came on the radio We were the best of friends, i used to stress all the time due to my anxiety but when my sister gave me her budgie I was able to forget about my anxiety and be happy Since I had someone to talk to and my budgie would talk back to me and Bob her head, I wish I still had her she was my little baby and always will be even if she's no longer here she'll always be my baby and I'll never stop loving her, the last thing I told her before she passed away was ill always love you. We had so many brilliant memory's together like how she used to climb out of her cage when I tried to put her blanket around the cage so she could sleep, how she used to make kissing noises at me when I looked unhappy, I'd give anything to have her with me right now RIP gypsie 2011-2016 you'll always be my little baby
was returning from a walk with my parents coming home and turned on the tv and was playing this song! just show! ps is it true that Rod Stewart was a gravedigger before the fame? hard to believe!

Why can "artists" no longer make music like this anymore? You can hear the passion for what he does in his voice and the effort he's putting into it. Instead we have the likes of lil Wayne llooking like ed the fuckin talking horse.

Very talented
man, they say this song came in weak period of Rod's career, but damn it this song its fuckin amazing
It was just relentless in the 1980s, one after the other, week-in-week-out, classics were being churned out.
I think its his best.

This track is right up there with the great soul classics. Rod at his best.

i cant believe there are 477 people who dislike this superb piece of art
I must tell you something about Rod Stewart. When he performed in Athens there were 60000 people. That says it all.Take care

I can't believe 14 thousand viewers liked four and a half minute of silence...
Maybe they dislike, the sound quality, or even the lack of variety of pictures... you know you interpret things how you want to..
Maybe they're just assholes. So it does not a matter.
this is one of the best songs ever, of all time, hot rod is a legend
The three minutes of silence at the end of this track really works well on playlists. Thanks for that. Feel special, because you really are!
