2016 smart ForFour Review (with friends) - City Car

smart car UK gave me this ForFour last April/May, I was actually writing about it & taking stills for an online publication I worked for at the time, but I also happened to shoot some film... I totally forgot about the film until sorting through my computer yesterday, here is what I found.

Hi Joe. Sorry to ask you related question on this video. I'm about to order a brand new 335d and as the BMW website is terrible I can't work out exactly what is standard and what is not. What, if any, optional extras would you recommend? Also have you had much experience with the 335d? I've watched your Alpina D3 video but couldn't find anything on the 335d. thanks in advance and keep up the great videos :)

Definitely the M sport plus pack. This contains xenons, 19 inch wheels harmon kardon sound system tinted rear windows and some other things, works out much cheaper than buying individually. Also spec heated seats! And professional media, get a much nicer big screen, with sat nav hard drive for music and loads of other things!

Hey buddy, sorry just seen this post! I've not had the fortune of thing the 335D x drive yet but hear it's amazing! As Biffa says it's definitely worth paying the extra £900 for Pro Nav, that brings with it a few other must have options like the black panel display, live traffic not to mention a much larger I drive screen and touch pad controller. The head up display is incredible, once you have used one you won't want to go back, standard sound is poor so either Advanced or HK upgrade, heated seats is a must have, sun protection (makes the car look so much better), I believe LED headlamps are standard, adaptive options are worth it if you drive at night in Rural areas. Lastly adaptive suspension is £500 very well spent, gives you the option of a comfortable ride or sporty option... Cheers man, it will be a lovely car regardless!

The older Smart ForFour model from 2004-2005 is much better. Stronger motor, more power, adjustable headrest, 4 disc brakes, at every wheel one (except the 2006 model, this has only 2 disc brakes) and much more.
This new 2016 smart is a very low cost and cheap follower of the first smart forfour model. The first one was a real small luxury car, the new one is a cheap mass product.
Clarification:
Disc brakes are much better than drum brakes but more expensive.

Jimmy Myers it’s beautiful compared to the old one. Does it look nice now? I think it does. Not as nice as Audi or Tesla or bmw but it ain’t bad
