I like Seacology approach to conservation. Likewise, I am very familar with Chuuk. I like to know how this project is going on now at end of 2013.

A few years ago the water tanks and community center were damaged in a storm so we funded repairs and replacement as needed. Our local partners continue to protect the forest.

Sorry for the incredibly late answer, your question slipped through the cracks.

15 acres does not seem like much! Why so little? Is there more that can be done?

Because our projects are based on partnerships with local communities, the size of the conservation area is often determined by the community's land rights or capacity to enforce protections. This one is on the smaller end-many of our projects protect much larger areas-but the level of biodiversity found in this 15-acre forest is very high.
