  • We have a MAJOR problem. Many Dispensationalists (not all) simply cannot defend the consistency, coherency, and cohesiveness of the scripture. Almost daily, I get emails, private messages, and more about how I don't understand the gospel because I don't accept that Jesus preached a works gospel and that Paul preached the true gospel of grace. I readily get told that Hebrews and James are for Tribulation Jews and not for the Christian Church. I am told that the gospels do not contain a gospel that saves today. Jews have one way of being saved. Gentiles another. There is one gospel for this time period and another gospel for this other dispensation, and yet another gospel for this time yet to come. It is frustrating on so many levels.
Some time back, I did a video titled, "What Good is a Perfect Bible if You Have Horrible Theology?" These guys will fight to the death in defense of the King James Version and tell everyone they know that one must rightly divide the word of truth, only to butcher the gospel. There is a pox on the Christian church today. There is a cancer within Fundamentalism. I wish I could say that it could be limited to Mid-Acts Dispensationalism, but it cannot. Many Dispensationalists proclaim Mid-Acts Dispensationalism and then deny that they do so. But, they still divide the gospel.
There are several popular IFB Internet preachers espousing this heresy of multiple gospels. They will tell you that people were saved by works at one point in the past. Then there was a time when people were saved by faith+works. Now, one can only be saved by Paul's gospel (not Jesus'), and during the Great Tribulation, works will once again be required for people to be saved.

Do you know what the Ministry of reconciliation means?
It takes two for the process of reconciliation. God made the first step: He reconciled himself to the world. He would never reconcile himself to sin. So what did He do?
Christ paid the price for the sins of the whole world. That was the necessary atonement, directly followed by God forgiving the world all trespasses.
Today, sin is not imputed to anyone, ALL sin was put on Christ, buried with him. When Christ rose again, all sin stayed in his grave and is not ever to be re-imputed to anyone in this dispensation of Grace.
That's our good news of today the Gospel of our salvation: the work was finished on the cross, once and for all. Now sin is put out of the way between God and man. Hallelujah 🙏🙏🙏
Now it's your turn: be ye reconciled to God. Believe that all your sins were forgiven by God when Christ paid the price for every single sin.
This is salvation today: believe, your sins were completely forgiven on the cross when you were His enemy,as the sins of the whole world were paid and forgiven there.
Believing that, trusting in Christ alone is what saves you today. In this very moment, Christ's righteousness is imputed in your account, by His spirit you are baptized into Christ, sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption, eternal life and all spiritual blessings are yours, you are a new creature, a member of the church, the Body of Christ, your Destination is heavenly places.
Paul, our only apostle, did not say one single word in all his 13 epistles how to get your sins forgiven. Because salvation is to believe they already are.
This is our ministry, Ambassadors for Christ, ministers of reconciliation. Share the good news that God has forgiven all the worlds sin and is not imputing them, today is the day of salvation!
      Grace and peace 🙏 ❤️

    OK why is Kim wrong?
Pual makes it clear we 😢are saved by faith alone.
James makes it clear salvation is not by faith alone, but by works and faith.
It’s literally right there in the Bible .
How do you explain this apparent contradiction?
Kim has an answer that makes sense to me . I’m not a radical. The reading of the text is clear. James a Jew is writing a letter to Jews. Literally in James the first verse. He’s states he is writing a letter to the 12 tribes of Israel. I think that’s relevant. He’s not writing to the gentile church. James is being consistent with what Jesus preached and told him to do. Jesus told the apostles to go to Jerusalem, then Judah, and then Samaria and the outer parts of the world.
Just like, when Jesus said, I did not come, but for the house of Isreal . Jesus made it clear that he did not come for gentiles, but only for the Jews.
What’s the problem? Pastor give us your explanation of this contradiction.
Don’t give me your a claim Kim is wrong. Why is Kim wrong?
    What did James mean?

Because if we truly are saved, by faith in grace alone (which we are), then a heart transformation occurs. So we show our faith by our works.
Though they (salvation and sanctification) are two separate phases in a Christian’s walk, they must be connected or the transformation whether real or not is questionable.
One emphasizes faith alone in grace (salvation), the other emphasizes faith and works (salvation that leads to one dying daily to self thus Jesus living in and through the Christian and brings forth good works).
If Jesus is in us, good works must come forth.

Brandan Robertson must be reading a different Bible than me... He said "Paul never met Jesus"... Did he not read what happened to Paul, that converted him from killing Christians to becoming Christian??? Meeting Jesus is what converted Paul, and Jesus is the very One who started Paul on his mission in the first place...
    It is written:
    Acts 9:3-6 NIV:
3 As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.
4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”
5 “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied.
6 “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
    CSB:
3 As he traveled and was nearing Damascus, a light from heaven suddenly flashed around him. 4 Falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”
5 “Who are you, Lord?” Saul said. “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting,” he replied.
6 “But get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
King James Version(For those who would discredit the more readable version above):
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

Yes consistency is key. James (written to Israel. James 1:1) 2:24 is not consistent with Paul (written to all that be in Rome: the Body of Christ Church) Romans 3:28.
Israel's doctrine is according to their 70 weeks prophecy. Paul's doctrine for the Body of Christ is not according to prophecy, but according to the mysteries revealed to him, that were hidden since the world began.
You gotta rightly divide the Word of Truth between what is meant for Israel and what is meant for the Body of Christ Church. Otherwise, confusion is the only possible outcome.

    • @Puhleeeez
      @Puhleeeez 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

@bugsocsollie1694 James is consistent with Paul. James is talking about the nature of true faith using Abraham (prior to the nation of Israel, prior to the Law) being evident by works, vs 20, Abraham offered up Jacob AFTER his belief was reckoned as righteousness vs 21. Just like Rahab hid the messengers after she believed, vs 25, a faith that does not produce works is as dead as a body without a spirit and is not a justifying faith at all, vs 26. Paul certainly does not preach a justification by faith alone that does not produce works, Rom 6.

    • @bugsocsollie1694
      @bugsocsollie1694 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

@@Puhleeeez Ya see? This is the kind of confusion you get when you mix Israel's last days doctrine with the doctrine for the Body of Christ Church.
We are justified by faith. Romans 5:1. Paul didn't add anything to that. You add it, to make it fit what James told Israel.
Israel is not God's people today, because they rejected their Messiah and their kingdom. They fell and they are diminished (Romans 11:11-12). When God calls out to them again, it will be too late for them to be saved by Grace through faith. They will have to endure their 70th week of their prophecy to be saved. And they better not take the Mark of the Beast. 1 John 5:16
Israel will be tried and tested like Gold in a furnace, because they rejected their Messiah. Only a remnant of them will be saved. Yes, their works matter very much. They will be saved by faith plus works.
The Body of Christ Church is saved by Grace through faith. If by Grace it can not be of works. And of works, it can not be of Grace. Romans 11:6
Today, Israel's doctrine is not valid. Mixing Their doctrine with our doctrine gives another Gospel that can not save anyone.
Paul's Gospel is the only Gospel that is the Power of God unto salvation for anyone THAT BELIEVES IT. Notice that Paul didn't add anything to that "believes it" part. Faith alone for salvation, but only for the Body of Christ Church. Not for Israel, once they're called out again by God.

"Rightly Dividing" is understanding the difference between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary.
Who is now the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary?
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24.
Who is really teaching “Replacement Theology” ?
(Did God fulfill His promises to the Jewish people at Calvary? Matthew 26:28, John 19:30)
The advocates of modern Dispensational Theology often accuse others of promoting “Replacement Theology”, or some may even say “Antisemitism”. What does the Bible say about their accusations?
    1. Who is replacing Christ as the seed of Abraham through which all the families of the Earth would be blessed in Genesis 12:3, with Abraham’s modern descendants? (See Paul’s interpretation in Galatians 3:8.)
    2. Who is replacing the one people of God in John 10:16, with two peoples of God ?
    3. Who is replacing the one seed (Christ) in Galatians 3:16, with the many seeds?
    4. Who is replacing the children of the promise in Romans 9:8, with the children of the flesh?
    5. Who is replacing the faithful “remnant” of Israelites in Romans 11:1-5, with the Baal worshipers?
    6. Who is replacing the word "so" in Romans 11:26, with the word "then"?
    7. Who is attempting to replace the Church made up of all races of people, with one made up only of Gentiles? Why did Peter address the crowd as “all the house of Israel” in Acts 2:36, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted Christ on the Day of Pentecost?
    8. Based on Hebrews 9:15, the New Covenant cannot be separated from the Messiah’s death. Is the covenant in Daniel 9:27 connected to the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26. Is the covenant with the “many” in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the “many” in Matthew 26:28? If it is, some have replaced the New Covenant in Daniel 9:27 with a future covenant made by an antichrist not found in Daniel chapter 9. (See the 1599 Geneva Bible used by the Pilgrims.)
    9. Those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology often accuse others of teaching “Replacement Theology”, but are they the masters of it? Are they promoting a form of Dual Covenant Theology based on race? (See “genealogies” in Titus 3:9) Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
    10. Watch the TH-cam video “Genesis of Dispensational Theology” to see the origin of this man-made doctrine, which is less than 200 years old. It was brought to the United States about the time of the Civil War by John Nelson Darby. The doctrine was later incorporated into the notes of the Scofield Reference Bible, and then spread through much of the modern Church.
Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas Texas was created in part to promote John Darby’s Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology.
Lewis Sperry Chafer, the first president of Dallas Theological, had the following to say about the difference between Israel and the Church:

“The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity.”
Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dispensationalism (Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936), p. 107.
Chafer states that, ‘Israel is an eternal nation, heir to an eternal land, with an eternal kingdom, on which David rules from an eternal throne,’ that is, on earth and distinct from the church who will be in heaven.”
Lewis Sperry Chafer. Systematic Theology. 1975. Vol. IV. pp. 315-323.
John Walvoord, another prominent voice of Dallas Theological stated…
"...it is an article of normative dispensational belief that the boundaries of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants from the Nile to the Euphrates will be literally instituted and that Jesus Christ will return to a literal and theocratic Jewish kingdom centred on a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. In such a scheme the Church on earth is relegated to the status of a parenthesis.”
    John F. Walvoord, The Rapture Question.1979, p. 25
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Are there two peoples of God in John 10:16? (See also 1 John 2:22-23, 2 John 1:7-11.)
What is the land promise to the Old Testament Saints in Hebrews 11:15-16?
(See what Joshua said about the Old Covenant land promise in Josh. 21:43.)
Based on 2 Peter 3:10-13, is this earth “eternal”? Will it be replaced by a new earth?
Based on Acts 2:36, and Romans 9:6-8, and Romans 11:1-5, and Hebrews 12:22-24, and James 1:1-3, can faithful Israel and the Church be separated into two different groups?
Who is the New Covenant promised to in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and is it fulfilled by the blood of Christ at Calvary in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 12:18-24?
Will modern Orthodox Jews ever be saved outside of the New Covenant Church, if the New Covenant is “everlasting” in Hebrews 13:20? (See also 2 Thess. 1:7-10) If the New Covenant has made the Old Covenant “obsolete” in Hebrews 8:6-13, why would God go back to the Old Covenant system during a future time period?

The passage you are using DOES NOT address or mention a difference between Old and New Covenants at all. In fact, it isn't mentioned ANYWHERE in the context of that passage. The text is specifically instructing Timothy, a pastor, not to engage in disputes over matters that are insignificant, irreverent, teach erroneous things, and that cause division and harm to the body of Christ, specifically about the resurrection of the dead. Here's the context:
"Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17 And their word will eat as doth a canker:" (KJV)
"Remind them of these things, and charge them before God not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers. 15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. 16 But avoid irreverent babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness, 17 and their talk will spread like gangrene." (ESV)
Paul then names two individuals who were violating this principle of causing dissension about the resurrection of the dead (Hymenaeus and Philetus) and promoting an error within the body of Christ.
So your point isn't mentioned ANYWHERE in this text as being applicable to one's view of Old vs. New Covenants. The Godhead is ONE and united. The Bible is the written revelation of that Triune God, yet ONE God. The scripture is united as the Father, Christ, and the Holy Spirit are united in one God, in essense. Dividing the word of God comes from the natural man because our brains like to categorize things into groups in order to understand and help remember them. While this is a good thing when aiding in memorization of scripture, we cannot ignore that ALL scripture, Old and New Covenants are intertwined and mesh in unity with each other. They are not contradictory to one another, but unified.
Please don't take my comments to be a personal attack. As one Christian to another, I'm only asking, in love, for your benefit and growth in Christ, that you examine the text carefully and consider that it might be possible that standard dispensationalism view of scripture may actually do harm to the unity of scripture. The written Word of God is a mirror of THE Word of God, Jesus Christ. From Gen 1 to the last verse of Revelation 22, it reveals the Person and Work of Christ, The Father, and the Holy Spirit. The Bible is ONE as God is ONE because the purpose of it is to reveal God to fallen man. It must reflect the very character of God and essense of who He is, in order to reveal Him properly.
May the Grace and peace of God be with you and may He bless you as you study this issue prayerfully. May His richest blessings be upon you and your family.

The problem you’ll run into is: 1. You have to explain the book of James outside of Dispensationalism, or you’ll be at risk of running into a theology that’s more aligned with the Roman Catholic Church. 2. You have to be able to explain clear differences in between Jesus coming to the Jews and the change that took place in Acts. 3. You have to be able to explain all the passages outside of James and the books of Paul that discuss works. 4. You run the risk of leaving people at a place of loss and confusion when you “debunk” or cast doubt on Dispensationalism without explaining what the alternative is.

Jews and dispensationalists may be waiting for a restored nation of Israel, but Scripture teaches that Christ has made a people who were no people, a holy nation - the church made of Jew and Gentile. I could go on, dispensationalism is wrong and no one believed the things that JN Darby, CI Scofield, LS Chafer taught for 1850-1900 years of church history. We are Christians. We have no place for a religion that excludes Christ. Those who fail to see prophecy fulfilled in Christ are functionally Jewish and functionally anti-Christ.

Response: You would think that with his theology degrees Brandon might be familiar with these three passages from the Acts of the Apostles:
    1. Acts 9:3-6 (KJV): And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, "Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?" And he said, "Who art thou, Lord?" And the Lord said, "I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks." And he trembling and astonished said, "Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?" And the Lord said unto him, "Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do."
    2. Acts 22:17-21 (KJV): And it came to pass, that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a trance; And saw Him saying unto me, "Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning Me." And I said, "Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on Thee: And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him." And He said unto me, "Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles. "

After the preaching, Dr. Corle opened the floor to answer Bible questions from the men. My friend asked him his position on Didpensationalism. Dr. Corle stated that although he did believe that God dealt in different periods with people in unique ways, due to whether the Mosaic Law was in effect whether they were Jees or Gentiles, etc, he did not consider himself a STRICT Dispensationalist. He went on to state that to follow Dispensationalism too closely & paint it with a "broad brush" would be to put God in a box & say he can't or won't do so.ething in a given situation & that the system itself has a tedancy to limit God.
I found nothing wrong with Dr. Corle"s answer, although there are other areas I have disagreed with him on. But chalked it up & moved on.
My friend did not take the time to dispute with him during that time, but did tell me afterwards that he would probably not ever attend another meeting there, due to the HERESY being espoused there!
Since that time, I have watched his deep ascent into Ruckmanism. He had personality tendencies that leaned toward harshness when it comes to doctrinal matters anyway. So, that didn't totally surprise me.
I have used a Schofield Bible in my preaching & study, as my first psstor did, as well as many men I have fellowshiped with & preached with. I have, however used it CAUTIOUSLY! In doing so, I have found places where I believe the Dispensational teaching he does, as well as other subjects he deals with in his notes are in error.

The Bible clearly outlines salvation in multiple passages, and Ephesians makes it clear it is not of works. I believe our answer lies in Romans 10:9-10 and 2 Corinthians 4:13-ff. When you take the fact that Paul outlined in 2 Corinthians that first he believed then he spoke. So belief unto salvation came first, and then the work of speaking (the work) came second. Dispensations is also HOW the Bible makes sense and does not "contradict" itself. I have been a Christian for a long time & as soon as I was called back into deep diving within the past three years, God has led me to Dispensational truth (also a book by this title by Clarence Larkin) so therefore I know in my spirit that this is the correct way to interpret scripture.
It's so important to use your common sense as well, don't you want to make sure you're reading the actual ancient scriptures correctly translated into English if Jesus attributes "every jot and tiddle" to be significant?
Being a dispensationalist is just another title for "reading the Bible the way it was intended to be read" and following what the correct scriptures say to do. If we all do this using correct scripture then there wouldn't be different denominations, preterest viewpoints set up by Jesuit priests of the roman catholic abomination, etc. Everything fits together like a masterpiece that only God could put together and "no scripture is of any private interpretation."
Just a side note: I know much of the older crowd were warning about the new modern bibles way back in the 50s as they change, add & omit words, verses & meanings! It's no secret, go to the store or order a few different "translations" and you'll see for yourself.
This video is a shame as it seeks to make war where answers can be found. This video just makes me sad because within the first minute, this man has already assumed and has done so wrongfully to his detriment only showing well learned people that he, himself needs to read the correct scriptures and rightly divide them. I will pray for this man to put his time and energy into study of the word rather than making mudslinging yourube videos against fellow Christians.

When I saw this earlier, I thought it was gonna be one of those 'click bait' titles, or, judging by the thumbnail, the video's content was gonna be 'bad mouthing' those 3 pastors and saying they're wrong.
And I turned out to be right, it's the latter.
Of the 3, Robert Breaker is the only one I'm familiar with. I've seen many of his video sermons. Some more than once, like 2 or 3 times. There are a few things he mentions and talks about that I don't quite agree with, but overall, he reads the Bible and teaches it to the best of his ability.
You say that rightly dividing the word of truth, and teaching dispensations is wrong, however are you aware that the Bible literally tells us to rightly divide? It's II Timothy 2:15.
"Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
And if you look at the verse after it, there's a warning.
"But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness."
Now, in regards to Jesus and Paul preaching 2 different gospels, they are.
    - Look at Jesus' earthly ministry. He preached the Gospel of the Kingdom, using the phrase "the kingdom of heaven is like..." And not once during His earthly ministry did He mention the Blood Atonement. (obviously because, during that time, the death, burial and resurrection hadn't happened yet)
    - Then look at Paul's ministry. He preached the Blood Atonement. You can find the gospel he preached in I Corinthians 15:1 - 4.
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; By which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."
    - If Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom and Paul preached the gospel of the blood atonement, then they did preach 2 different gospel messages.
And regarding the epistles of Paul being for the church and Hebrews through Revelation being for the Jews in the Tribulation, again, they are.
    - In Romans 11:13, Paul says this: "For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:" And look at the books of Romans all the way to Philemon, every single one starts with the same word. Paul, indicating that he's speaking to the Gentiles, which is us. (and Gentiles make up a majority of the church)
    - And if you look at the book of James, as well as the books of I and II Peter, they're writing to a Jewish audience.
James 1:1 "James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting."
I Peter 1:1 "Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,"
II Peter 1:1 "Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:"
The 12 tribes and strangers who are scattered are the Jewish people of Israel
    - If Paul is the apostle to the Gentiles, which is us, the church and Hebrews through Revelation, or some therein, are addressed to the Jews of Israel, then they are writing to different audiences.
These are just 2 examples, but there are more. So whether people believe it or not, rightly dividing is a legitimate practice.
All I'm saying is, if a pastor reads the Bible and teaches on something that you don't agree with, maybe don't be so quick as to call them a 'false teacher'.
My dad did that. He called Robert a "false prophet" one time, simply because he didn't agree with something. But then he turned around a few seconds later, making a total 180, and said that most of what he says is dead on.

When someone starts their thesis, 'if you don't believe it this way you are ignorant', it is a good sign they can't defend their thesis and are defending their position as the authority. What is plain, requires no explanation, and what is implied requires reason, and where there is no bridge requires overwhelming force.

You have to rightly divide otherwise you will be building arks, sacrificing animals, and slaying giants. Its the same way with the new testament. Jesus came only to 12 tribes of Israel... without Paul we would have never received the Gospel. Peter was going to the Jews and continued in the Law of Moses. Paul had to come and correct that and Peter agreed with him that Salvation is not of works and is also for everyone not just Jews. Nobody is saying we shouldnt obey Jesus and we can sin as much as we want. We are just simply saying Salvation is by Grace through Faith. Simply believe in the blood that was shed for the sins of the world. Accept the free Gift of God. After Salvation of Grace then the Holy Spirit will lead you to every good work.

Can the doctrine in James 2:21-24 be used for the Church?
Romans 4:3-11 For what saith the scripture? *Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.* 6Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, 7Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 8Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. 9Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, *or upon the uncircumcision also?* for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. *10How was it then reckoned?* when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? *Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.* 11And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:
James 2:21-24 *Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?* *22Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?* 23And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. *24Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.*
Paul uses Genesis 15:5-6 for Abraham's Justification by faith. Abram was a GENTILE, his name had not been changed to Abraham yet. He was not circumcised until Genesis 17:10. Paul tells us Abraham was Justified in UNCIRCUMCISION as a gentile.
And he brought him forth abroad, and said, *Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. 6And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.*
James is written to: James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the *twelve tribes which are scattered abroad,* greeting. (1:1)
Abraham was Justified by faith AND works as the first Jew AFTER circumcision. Paul tells us there are three divisions of man today:
1 Cor. 10:32 Give none offence, neither to the *Jews,* nor to the *Gentiles,* nor to the *church of God:*
While there is some doctrine applicable to the Church in James' epistle it is addressed to the Twelve Tribes. Either you are a lost Jew, a lost gentile, or you are a saved man in the Body of Christ/the Church. Hebrews is also addressed to the Hebrews. Notice that the promise in Genesis 15 is that Abraham's seed was to be as the stars.
In Genesis 22: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, *and as the sand which is upon the sea shore;* and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; The promise is expanded from the stars to include the sand of the seashore. The sand of the seashore is given *territorial possession.* (Possess the gate of his enemies).
If you state that Abraham was Justified in the sight of men in James Chapter 2, WHO was with Abraham and Isaac when Abraham offered his son?
    Genesis 22:3
And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took *two of his young men with him,* and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.
    (v. 4-5)
Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
*5And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.*
No witness to Abraham's faith except for Isaac and the Lord.
    1. Who is the Book of James written to?
    2. Was Abraham Justified before men when he offered Isaac?
    3. How was Abraham's Justification reckoned according to Paul?
    4. Does "qualifying" faith answer the discrepancies between Romans 4:4-10 and James 2:21-24?
Abraham was Justified before God BOTH TIMES, not before men. James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; *thou doest well:* the devils also believe, and tremble. James commends this man for his faith, not that it is a "saving" faith, or a "dead" faith. Devils cannot be saved, for they are a spirit. Jesus Christ was *manifest in the flesh to save men.* James 2:22 *Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?* Abraham the JEW did the work of offering Isaac. And by this WORK his FAITH was made complete. No "saving" faith, "dead" faith, etc. (v. 26) For as the *body* without the spirit is dead, so *faith without works* is dead also.
    Dead body=no spirit. Faith - works=dead body.
To further prove that Romans Ch. 4 And James Ch. 2 are written to two different people consider that the original promise to Abram by believing what God told him about the stars (Genesis 15) is expanded in Genesis 22 to the sands of the sea AND A LAND PROMISE.
    Genesis 22:17
That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, *and as the sand which is upon the sea shore;*
and thy *seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;*
Christians are never given a land promise.
As far as a sodomite Pastor or lgtbq ou8i2+!@ whatever, no dispensational Baptist would approve of his preaching or being a Pastor, let alone a teacher.
The Old Testament condemns sodomy as does the New (Romans Chapter 1). To conclude that both a sodomite "Pastor" and a Bible believing dispensational Baptist into the same heresy is a faulty polemic similar to the first century heresy of "Two Powers in Heaven" leveled at Christians to designate them "heretics" along with gnostics by the Jews.

What's troubling are those people out there who practice a system of interpretation whereby they are essentially saying that Paul did not speak the entire Gospel in 1 Corinthians 15:1-8, where he said nothing about works also being a means for justification, where James said in James 2 that works is the means by which one is justified if coupled with faith. They cannot both be true for us today. It's really that simple. Paul gave to us the COMPLETE Gospel, not a partial one, with the book of James being applied as supplement to Paul's teaching. If works were at all a means for justification unto salvation, then Paul would certainly have spoken those words to us, but he didn't. Works of the Law contain many/most of the good works we may do in life, and yet Paul spoke vehemently against the notion of works being a thing of boasting before God. So, yes, rightly dividing the epistles along the line of their distinctions and differences, which proves they were directed at different audiences under differing dispensations, that only leads to Paul being labeled a false apostle, which many in the Hebrew Roots movement practice and believe, or at minimum an apostles who failed to teach the full Gospel to Gentiles. The anti-rightly dividing gangs, and anti-dispensational gangs, have no other recourse for conclusion to their warped beliefs!

If you don’t believe the ENTIRE Bible is truth, then there’s your problem.
Jesus came before his death to the lost HOUSE of Israel
He said so in scriptures. So either you can’t read, can’t divide or you don’t believe the Bible.
All of those problems exist with you….not anyone else.
    Matthew 15:24 KJV
[24] But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
AFTER the DEATH of Jesus & Resurrection….Jesus sent Paul to preach grace to His church.
The Jews are not the Church.
Gentiles only. Some few Jews may repent and accept Jesus but most won’t because of Romans 11….blindness until the fulness of the Gentiles…which is the physical departure. Makes plenty of sense.
And last I checked Eternal Salvation is a free gift that lasts forever. Those who accept it are changed for life.
We are Saved Eternally FOR works, not BY works.

When these people misuse the "rightly dividing the word of truth" phrase, it doesn't mean to divide or separate the Bible into different categories, it just means to handle it correctly or accurately (something which, ironically, these people aren't doing). I like the NASB 1995 translation of it, "accurately handling the word of truth." Here's Thayer's definition of the Greek word "ὀρθοτομέω" (orthotomeō):
    "ὀρθοτομέω, ὀρθοτόμω; (ὀρθοτομος cutting straight, and this from ὀρθός and τέμνω);
    1. to cut straight: τάς ὁδούς, to cut straight ways, i. e. to proceed by straight paths, hold a straight course, equivalent to to do right (for יִשֵּׁר), Proverbs 3:6; Proverbs 11:5 (viam secare, Vergil Aen. 6, 899).
    2. dropping the idea of cutting, to make straight and smooth; Vulg.rectetracto, to handle aright: τόν λόγον τῆς ἀληθείας, i. e. to teach the truth correctly and directly, 2 Timothy 2:15; τόν ἀληθῆ λόγον, Eustathius, opuscc., p. 115, 41. (Not found elsewhere (except in ecclesiastical writings (Winer's Grammar, 26); e. g. constt. apost. 7, 31 ἐν τῷ τοῦ κυρίου δόγμασιν; cf. Suicer ii. 508f). Cf. καινοτομέω, to cut new veins in mining; dropping the notion of cutting, to make something new, introduce new things, make innovations or changes, etc.)"

What better way to divide the church and weaken a believers walk than to encourage them to rigidly hold onto bad theology. Theology that is divisive and then to take that theology and judge other Christians as less than since they don't believe the same exact way. This is a theology of demons meant to pick apart the flock. To draw the sheep to the outskirts of the fields and away from the master. Dangerously close to the lions seeking to steal, kill and destroy. I remember going round and round with kids in my Christian high school (decades ago when I was in high school). They would blindly quote their pastors message, and out of context. And then in that perverted (out of context) view think they were justified in their "holy anger" or "moral high-ground". In truth, not actually being holy or moral.
"Rightly Dividing Scripture" sounds more like idol worship of a commentary instead of taking a balanced approach and actually breaking down the scriptures into it's lessons and truth. I guess it's easier to hold a hard-line than it is to be flexible, teachable and humble as the Spirit leads. With the hard-line there's no real work, it's just eating the same grass, regurgitating it, then chewing it again. Over and over as faithful livestock in a barn of lies, at the edge of destruction.
Keep up the good work. Continue to fight the good fight. That way you can finish strong. Praise God that you realized the truth and seek to shine light on the bad theology all while pointing those lost in it back to Christ.

Jonathan, this is a good vid. As a non-believer in Christianity though, let me weigh in with ideas you might not think about. The first I want to voice is that there is no univocality of the Christian Bible. These other preachers jump through hoops to make things line up, and you do as well. There are glaring contradictions in your Bible, among the biggest is the faith/works stuff you highlight here. Clearly, as this argument is as old as Christianity itself, the texts do not agree.
The second thing I want to mention is this. If there is a Holy Spirit that gives understanding to sincere believers, there should be some consensus. There is not. You might say those others are not sincere, but others could say that of you. If there is a Holy Spirit, why can't you guys just pray and agree? Jonathan, from the outside looking in, it does not appear that there is a supernatural element to this belief system. It seems all man-made. That there is such dissension in those that claim belief in Jesus called the Christ is evidence of this.

      ===========

Read the recent book "The Rise and Fall of Dispensationalism", by Daniel G. Hummel.

"The misunderstanding of what Paul meant by '
"Rightly dividing" has caused a lot of unnecessary confusion with doctrine. Why can't more people stress what rightly dividing really means?
KJV Strong's concordance: orthotomeō - to make a straight cut, i.e. (fig.) to dissect (expound) correctly (the divine message) - rightly divide [1x].
orthotomeō, lit. "to cut straight," is found in 2 Ti. 2:15, "rightly dividing" (the word of truth); the meaning passed from the idea of cutting or "dividing" to the more general sense of "rightly dealing with a thing." WHAT IS INTENDED HERE IS NOT "DIVIDING" SCRIPTURE FROM SCRIPTURE , BUT TEACHING SCRIPTURE ACCURATLEY, CAREFULLY DISCERNING EACH NUANCE [Emphasis mine].
    Blue Letter Bible : Strong's G3718
Outline of Biblical Usage: II. to make straight and smooth, to handle aright, to teach the truth directly and correctly.
    Strong's G3718 (Blue Letter Bible)
    . dropping the idea of cutting, to make straight and smooth; Vulg.rectetracto, to handle aright: τόν λόγον τῆς ἀληθείας, i. e. to teach the truth correctly and directly, 2 Timothy 2:15;
Vine's Dictionary also explains that "rightly dividing" does not mean "dividing" scripture from scripture, but rather teaching scripture accurately.

Whenever I encounter one I have to disentangle myself like I've walked into a spider web. They do not seem to want to be corrected. Their entire way of looking at God's Word is, instead of being founded on Jesus Christ, based on 'what era of time are you in=what to believe/do to be saved.' Why do they insist on it? Scofield teachings are one answer, but I believe there must be a reason they refuse to come out of that stronghold. For example, atheists refuse to believe in God because they do not want to be told what to do by anyone or held to account. They therefore make their own selves 'God.' And other "religions" don't want to give up sin or suffer or be changed from the inside out, or die to self. Hyper-dispensationalists, perhaps, cannot grasp the "one new man" of Ephesians 2:15. They always stress that the book of Hebrews was written to Hebrews and James to the 12 Tribes and are therefore not for us. Well, Romans was written to Romans and Corinthians to Corinthians, etc., so what do they do with that? I've also noticed that hardcore dispensationalists think that you can sin all your way to Heaven because Jesus "paid it all past, present and future." They occasionally teach repentance and confession and struggle and overcoming, but they always seem to fall back on grace...without fruit.

    Scofield defines Paul's gospel as
*“that Jesus Christ, the rejected King, has died on the cross for the sins of the world, that He was raised from the dead for our justification, and that by Him all that believe are justified from all things”* from Acts 13 and on the same page Scofield also says it is
*“of ‘the uncircumcision’ (Gal. 2. 7) because it saves wholly apart from forms and ordinances” (Scofield Reference Bible, rev. ed. (New York: Oxford University Press, 1917), 1343)* , thereby agreeing with and historically solidifying the Mid-Acts distinction of the gospels mentioned in Galatians 2:7 (the New Scofield Reference Bible keeps all the labels Scofield gave but removes this one). It was the New Scofield Reference Bible which kept all his notes on the gospel of the grace of God (NSRB pg. 1366), except for Scofield saying it was the gospel of the uncircumcision, since to Scofield it implies a distinction with the gospel of the opposite name.
It is Lewis Sperry Chafer who was Scofied's protege and Charles F. Baker (founder of Grace Missions International and the Grace Gospel Fellowship) was Chafer's protege who maintained these teachings.
Pastor Baker (a premiere Mid-Acts scholar and theologian) also maintained: “no one, in any dispensation, receives salvation as a reward for his works or faithfulness.” (Charles F. Baker Understanding the Gospels, pg. 172)
GotQuestions disagrees yet has no fellowship problem with the Mid-Acts position www.gotquestions.org/mid-Acts-dispensationalism.html

Maybe it's an IFB thing, and I've never been an IFB, though I did attend an IFB Church here in NZ for a short time as there was no other dispensational Church in that small town, but left as it became apparent that they were Antisemitic. Most of my walk I've tended to flip between Calvary Chapels, or Open Brethren Assemblies depending on where I am due to my past military career, (very few Messianic congregations in NZ), as these suit my theological outlook. But I've never come across the beliefs you highlight in this presentation, (maybe I didn't attend that IFB long enough to find out). What you allege here is totally foreign to me. I've read many books out of Dallas, and not found these beliefs there either. I also personally knew Dr Chuck Missler who taught me a great deal, and introduced me to Amir Tsarfati when he was in NZ, and Dr Arnold Fructenbaum, all dispensationalists, who do not hold to these beliefs. I do not believe Yeshua taught a different Gospel, I believe Yeshua highlighted how my ethnic brethren had drifted from what is written. And I most certainly do not believe in faith plus works for anybody. Avraham believed, and it was accounted to him for righteousness, salvation has ALWAYS been by grace through faith... And James... James is NOT in deference to the Apostle, James and Paul stand back to back with their swords pointing outward. The dispensationalism you speak of is to be avoided, it doesn't sound like dispensationalism as I know it at all...

Christ would have to become the substitute for the sin offering goat and the live goat to bring about our complete forgiveness of sins according to Leviticus 16.
Though the NT refers to him as lamb of God. Both can be interchange.
You see on the cross he became our sin offering goat or lamb.
So where and when or how did he fulfill becoming our live goat and carried our transgressions and iniquities to the desert. Was it on the Cross?
If your response is Yes, we need to explain it more. God specify 2 activities on the day of atonement but we celebrate one, i.e on the cross. And poetic - ly explain the sin offering to redeem our sin nature and brought about the forgiveness of our sins. By saying that the blood wash away our transgressions or that Christ became a curse on the cross for us. This and more are explanation. But God specifies live goat carries our iniquities into the desert and the death of the sin offering goat becomes our substitute to die for our sins.
I believe that there was true forgiveness of sins particularly our transgressions and iniquities in the forgiveness of sins John the Baptist preached. This was supported by Christ Jesus when asked about the source of his authority in Mathew 23:13. He pointed them to John's baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
Please carefully review this facts and comment. Forgiveness of sin was later pointed to the cross much later. At first it was identified by or to forgiveness of sin by baptism. Act 3:38 according to Christ's instructions.
I have more to say. Hope you're not too diverted for ur teaching, though the teaching are revolutionary. That's why I asked these questions.

2 Timothy 2:15 is mistranslated in the KJV to say "rightly dividing the word of truth." Dispensationalist hang on this verse. But this is a mistranslation of the Greek word "ὀθομέω" which means to cut a straight path without deviation. Correct translations of this word are "rightly handling" or "rightly explaining " or "accurately handling" the word of truth. The verse is not about division but about teaching the gospel in a straight and true manner without deviation or perversion. This the dispensationalists fail to do falling into another mistranslation rabbit hole.

"ὀρθοτομέω or-thot-om-eh'-o" G3718 was the word used. It literally translates to rightly divide according to the dictionary. other definitions are to dissect correctly (i.e divide) and to make a straight cut (i.e divide)

Please explain Matt 25:31-46...that in a nutshell is the Abrahamic covenant where the gentiles have to bless Israel in the tribulation in order to get into the kingdom. They have to have faith plus works. James 2:14-16 goes along with Matt 25:31-46, they have to bless Israel by supplying them of what they need.

There are differences between the doctrines of Jesus Christ's earthly ministry to the Jew only (Matt. 10:5-8) and Paul's to the gentile and Jew. A FEW:
    Matthew 5:22
But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: *but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.*
    Galatians 3:1
*O foolish Galatians,* who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
    1 Cor. 15:35-36
But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? *36Thou fool,* that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
Was Paul in danger of hellfire? He did this TWICE.
    Matthew 19:16-25
And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, *what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?*
17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, *keep the commandments.*
18He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, *Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,*
*19Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.*
20The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: *what lack I yet?*
21Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, *go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.*
22But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
23Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, *That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.*
24And again I say unto you, *It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.*
25When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, *Who then can be saved?*
    1 Timothy 6:17-18
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; *18That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;*
IF you think these are the same doctrines you either do not study the scriptures or are dishonest.
The young ruler askes Jesus what he must do to INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE!
Jesus states to KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS.
The young ruler askes Jesus he has kept them and asks what he LACKS.
Jesus tells him to SELL what he HAS and give to the poor.
Do you own anything? A car. house. clothes, property, bank account?
What does Paul say to the rich, to do the same? NAY.

    • @michaelrobinson28314
      @michaelrobinson28314 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

They’re dishonest. Jesus says to prayer a certain prayer in your closet and Paul says for we know not what to pray and to pray everywhere. Paul’s says we’re covered by the blood of Jesus but James said we can have sins covered if we lead someone to Christ.

You know what I’ve noticed recently? That there seems to be an acute rise in videos denouncing dispensational biblical truths.
But that they all appear to hold to the same pattern, is what alarms me. First , one must establish in the minds of the audience that dispensational understanding appeared out of nowhere ; a la Schofield and Darby . And then , without arguing this point scripturally and fairly, you hold up some weak examples of dispensational teaching and cherry pick . The fact that Tucker Carlson and the Country star John Rich just addressed it recently, and followed the same outline and method ; bodes darkly indeed .
Looks coordinated and reeks of an agenda , Methinks .
I can tolerate sincere disagreements from folks , so long as scripture is the framework of the discussion and is used to make one’s case and argue to a conclusion. But all the stuff I hear about refutation of two gospels in Gal 2:7 in the KJV Bible is of this most unfortunate kind . Boo …!

How could Jesus preach the same Gospel if he had not died, been buried and rose again?
Look into the many times he tried to tell the desciples of what would come to pass and their reactions. Peter comes to mind in Mathew 16:20-23.
So why did Jesus not want this to be known? Well lets look at 1 Corinthians 2:6-8
"Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory."
Praise God for his omniscious and wisdom! Allowing Satan to think he was going to stop Christ from fulfilling what he came to do for all the world! (1 Timothy 4:10)

The gospel of grace has been consistent from Genesis to Revelation. It has never been about works (law), it has always been about grace. Works or deeds have always been about acting on your faith. Jesus made it clear, only by believing in Him are we saved. This is the result of reading God’s worth through theological lenses. Let the Word speak, we don’t need to explain God, He does it for us.
