      Long time supporter of the libertarian party. Became more conservative as I got older. I was wondering if I could ask you who this candidate is and what he stands for on policy? Is he socially conservative? How is he on immigration and foreign policy? In other words is he a compromise or a hard liner?

      @@KittredgeRitter Good question, Oliver appears to be socially liberal. He is pro choice but doesn’t think abortions should be funded by taxpayers. He is pro gun though. He doesn’t seem to have an issue with immigrants as long as they work and don’t get into trouble. When it comes to foreign affairs, he’s strongly anti-war, wants nothing to do with it. Though I’m not the best when it comes to discussing politics and that’s just the tip of the iceberg, so I would advise looking him up and research more into his beliefs that will probably be worded better than how I put it.

Third party votes are so important especially NOW! Vote how you feel if you want Democratic socialism vote for it any votes we can take away from the corpo-unions. The 15% let the world economic summit yelling about the one %. Just send a message that we the people can get together. The left and the right common people. I generally like Chase Oliver and encourage folks to check him out. But I admit it makes my heart sink when he goes anti-war. Hamas attacked the Israelis at a concert and in their homes. It made the terrorists (cowards) choice to go after pure civilian targets and then hide amongst their own people to try to avoid the consequences. Such organizations must be rooted out to have a meaningful peace.
    Peace is not the absence of ability to make war, but the ability to make it and to choose to avoid it.

    • @2000MrNathan
      @2000MrNathan 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      I think his main point is that these wars that we are involved in are not constitutionally declared wars by congress (the people that are supposed to represent us).

    • @brycechristensen1510
      @brycechristensen1510 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@2000MrNathan I totally appreciate that position and it's a great point. Not trying to take away from that.
      When Israel declared independence, they got assurances from a number of countries, including the United States, that we would help them defend themselves if they were attacked. We have avoided sending troops into combat so far, but we've trained with them, provided material and funding, etc.
      When Israel was attacked last fall, the right thing for Gaza was probably for us to send out military. Our troops would have been more careful about civilians targets and we had more precision munitions to try to limit the collateral damage.
      This is, of course, based on the idea that we should honor our obligations. Israel geographically stands alone as a democracy among non-representative governments, all of which have declared war on her during her 75 years of independence. If we withdraw our support, it is pretty much the same as telling all of those enemies that our friendship has limits and to go ahead and wipe the Israelis off the map. That would be a sad day for us as a nation. But it feels like we are approaching it.

      @@brycechristensen1510 Along Israel a state was also created for the Palestinians. Most of that territory is now illegally occupied by Israel. That doesn't justify what Hamas did but it does help to explain why Palestiniens see Israel as an enemy.

    • @huckingplastic7285
      @huckingplastic7285 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately, your stance on the conflict is ill informed. And that is okay, because it’s better to be wrong, and learn. Then to never have an opinion in the first place. That would be complacency.
      The Palestinian people have been displaced and murdered since the creation of the Israeli state. I take 0 sides, there has been terrorism on both sides. And the United States has no place in the Middle East. Israel and Palestine can exist, but unfortunately the Israeli government does not believe they can live along side their Palestinian brothers.

    • @brycechristensen1510
      @brycechristensen1510 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@junegenis Hamas used funding from Iran to attack Israel.
      If Iran funded terrorists in Mexico to attack the United States, we certainly would go after them and call on our allies as necessary. So I don't fault Israel for taking action or for calling on us to fulfill our prior obligations.
      Israel and Hamas see each other as enemies, when they were both victims of Imperial Great Britain and now each other.
