Noel yearns for excitement and liberation, even if it's in the most absurd or chaotic way. Something his current life just isn't offering him.
the thing is, living like that, whole is horrible, is so much better than living how noel was. hiding such a large pet of himself and constantly dampening it down and everything, it grates on you a lot. so to noel atleast, living like that was so much more appealing and better than how he was. i can’t remember what video it was, but there are a couple videos that go into all the songs really well
