I need to make it up there to ride with you guys. I’m on my 2023 GSXS1000. Burch rode it last time he was down this way. Wish I had launch control on mine!
@@usvuuwaw6501 most 1000 hit the same top speed but once he gets his bike tuned with a nice exhaust system, it will be a more fair race. We’re gonna run it back again once he gets it tuned. 👍🏻
@@chase1up_2.0 okay, it seems like u slip the clutch too and sometimes didnt get the rev…. so i hope in the next video ur gixx and his r1 got tuned for the same tune so it would be fair… and i hope u guys switch the rider too, so its more fair to make a comparison
Spent most of my life learning how to ride a motorsickle......no desire to let R2D2 ride it for me. I'm sure the computer can leave faster than me but what's the point ? Might as well play a video game.,....
The clutch on the newer gsxr is very on off.. there is no in between.. even with adjustment it engages almost at the end of the throw.. its a hard clutch to be smooth on
@@Stang281472 I have a 23 also. It’s a decent bike. Don’t like the clutch pull. The hydraulic clutch was a lot better on the previous gen but it was a pain in the ass and had issues with the master
@@downlowgo_401 it’s the slipper clutch design in this bike that makes it tricky. The cams in the clutch setup unload the disks on decel but have opposite effect on acceleration it makes the disks load harder.

Magnifique vidéo frère !
That was fun, we have the same bike, mine is a 21. It's cool to watch the tach and speedo climb because normally I have to look at the road!😅

What a hell of a saying. “About to go do some rips at my buddy’s air strip”
U both stock motor???
@@usvuuwaw6501 yes. Mine has a tune, but he hasn’t got around to tuning his yet.
@@chase1up_2.0 if u got a race to reach the top speed… who is winning?

Let clutch out slower and smoother to keep motor from bogging and launch will be better with launch control

@@downlowgo_401I have the same bike as chase. A 2023 GSXR 1000RZ. If you are smooth you can do pretty good . I agree not the easiest but can be done.

@@Stang281472 actually, I think I was letting it out too slow and smooth. I think I need to dump it and let it do its thing.
