Thanks for including sources for everything. I noticed a nice world map at the beginning of your binder and I was curious about how you came across it. It looks like it has plenty of varied terrain.
Absolutely. The map at the very beginning of the video is a map that I drew of an area called "Old Dorgoth." It's a very wild setting full of danger, ruins, and monsters but has very few actual settlements.
Is there anywhere I could get a copy of it? I am a fan of frontier settings but I am awful when it comes to creating geography. Good name for it by the way.
PhDnD Is Old Dorgoth in any way inspired by Westeros from Game of Thrones? I can make out some similarities (the Eastern islands in the bay, for example). That aside, I loved the video! It really helped me with organizational problems I face as a DM.
MegaEpicmoose The only conscious Westeros-inspired bit of the map is that its more of a tall/thin landmass vs a wide one. But it is interesting to see other similarities. Thanks!
I looked around for "Little Treasures," found the original author's (taichara) blog: Hamsterish Hoard of Dungeons and Dragons. She has a new "More Little Treasures," and much more there.
Nice map. If you can find the first edition DMG from AD&D it has a lot of good resources in the appendices that work for any fantasy game. The only time I ever had a binder was for my Labyrinth Lord campaign, but it was nowhere as detailed as this. I just think I'm not as organized as other people. It sounds like you might already have the 1st ed DMG. Cool binder.
Thx for the great vid! I think there had been a similiar vid Coffee & Campaign Building or Coffee & Roleplay or something like that. Somebody knows where i can find it?
Guess I'll put this here. Have some questions would like help on and open to advice. I used to collect DnD a long time ago and have only played Rifts and GURPS. That said, I want to get into DnD 5 and particularly like the Eberron setting. Need to get up to speed. So, starting with the basics, as a player, what dice do I need, especially as for multiples? What else would be good to get(?); I am getting the core books. What online resources (websites and TH-cam) are good for DnD in general and Eberron in particular? What do you recommend as for 3rd party sites and product lines? How does one get into online groups such as you do here? What events are good to attend? Anything else you would like to have known as a beginner? You know: If only I had known. . .
agneim Get a standard set of polyhedral dice: d20, d12, d10, d8, d6, and d4. Get a set of percentile d10s if you can. The core books is all you need at this point. It continues to amaze me that people are terrifically impressed by a long list of organized cliches.
I wouldn't say "impressed" so much as "thankful" that they found something useful.
Awesome work compiling all that together. Your work is appreciated ;-) as well as the communities
Thanks!

You are correct. It looks like some of the links need to be changed. I will work on that today. Thank you for letting me know!
Guess I'll put this here.

Thanks much!
Thanks, it looks great. I got a lot of good ideas from this video.
Glad to hear it!
Seems good for new DMs. Any one with experience should be able to do this without a binder.
great dm binder
Thank you!
Yay thanks!
