Our first steam up in over a year due to Covid. Out if practice with the camera work sorry. A huge thank you to Anne and Rodger for inviting us to there house it was a wonderful day enjoyed by all who attended.
Great shots Graham, and that 2-8-4 of yours sounds really good as does Gordon's 19 class. I see not as much shade now Roger is missing a few trees but good to see his layout running again. I'll probably make it next run, meanwhile I'll make some more video's.
I have one Accucraft Ruby #2 the red version and I've only ran it on test rollers. I'd love to buy more but at that scale(G scale) I am running LGB, Bachmann, Aristo-Craft and USA Trains electrified track locos. Easier to fire up. Sometimes.
Awesome Graham! Do these also feature drain cocks? I would imagine they do but i didn't see any in the video. And whats the price of one of these? They look very fun to have around since i will never get the chance to conduct a real steam locomotive haha!
Hello Marcus, most of the larger locomotives do have drain cocks fitted but not al of them. My 2 American locos in this video do have them but i only have them open at the start of the run to warm up the cylinders. Prices range from under $1000 to 10K depending on the locomotive
Thank you for your nice comments, All the loco's in this video are manual controlled. I guess only about 15% of the loco's in our group would be radio controlled. I have a couple but usually forget to charge them and run them manually anyway.
Nice collection of locos and rolling stock. On a nice day too. Spring will come to Scotland sometime…then let us all boil water.
Great video. Looks like everyone had a lot of fun.
Nice video Graham and you are having great weather there, of which we can only dream here in Holland:)
Lovely video Graham , Nice trains, track and a warm day perfect

Nice video Graham, it's been a while !
The Berkshire looks superb, as does the mighty FEF3.

Awesome 👍🏻🇦🇺
fun video, as always
I think the funniest part about this video is the little tank engine that’s faster than the FEF

Thank You for sharing Graham. Are these radio controlled or manually controlled? I don't see any servos in the cabs.

Would give that FEF 3 less cutoff and not keep it full forward honestly
What brand is the fef 844?
