Me too, but this barely scratches the surface of the depths of emotions one would feel when reading the book. Personally I haven't been able to read it more than once, even though I've been lucky to not have a loved one abducted or otherwise disappear for years. It's still simply too well written and too painful a subject matter. I can't imagine people who have actually lost someone like this (and not found them alive or dead) being able to read it at all. So I'm glad this movie isn't as intense so they may be able to enjoy the movie and get some sense of hope from its happy ending.
