I am a born and raised Vermont and can agree with the California guy it isnt for the faint of heart i wear three or four layers during the winter cause i have to walk to the bus stop and climb a hill sometimes to get to work.The Crytid sounded like a windgo if heard it during the winter .
I live in Maine and wear the same amount of layers because I work outside

To bad that story likely isn't true. As far as I'm aware no agency will take someone fresh out of the academy and make them a Training officer especially when their academy was on the opposite side of the country. Also an academy training officer will most likely not do any patrol work.

I agree, it is a HUGE TRIGGER for me too! I love animals especially dogs and cats… just listening to a story about abuse against animals hurts my heart.

I absolutely love when you put warnings of animal abuse. It will make me hate anything else the author writes. (Also, the author themselves. And anyone they love.) It's not good to have my blood pressure spike right before bed, or, you know... ever. So thank you for that.❤

The carwash guy with the car fetish kinda bugged me just by how EXTREMELY ENTHUTHIASTIC he was about how much he likes cars.

I’m surprised they only sent one police officer to the sounds of screaming… I’ve seen two or three police cars come when a neighbor called the police hearing our neighbor crying as if her husband was abusing her.

The story about "Tony" is incredibly dumb. It's a story about a weird bully and has nothing to do with cops... It's an unfortunate story but not really disturbing or creepy.

The Vermont story in the start of the story the officer proclaimed the vehicle an all terrain suv i assume type vehicle had troubles with the larger icy hills. Upon the completion of searching the woods they peeled outta there in there cruiser?????
So wait, are these stories real? Or are they from people testing their ability to write a good story? They all have a lot of the same "monsters" and scenarios. But they also seem super far fetched. I'm not saying they aren't real, I'm just trying to point my mind in the right direction while I listen 😇
He tries to vet for true stories, but it's clear a number of them are completely made up. They either have events that simply would not happen like that, or inconsistencies, or, in plenty of the cop cases, if you do any Googling of them, nothing shows up, even in horrific murder cases. That's highly unlikely, especially in a post-internet age.

I cannot understand why the uber driver did not take those women to an actual police station… whats point in playing games with gang members, why even bother taking them to their stupid destination when they are in danger lol. ._. Also a trans person getting harassed is not really a horror story imo. I only mention it cuz I like police related horror, they are bound to come across some unexplainable stuff, but those stories are not related to officer experiences.
