- Why is the UK's weather so bad in June 2024 ! Is the summer finally going to arrive next week? 😮 We was hoping for a really nice sunny day as we decided to visit Lytham St Annes on the Lancashire coast.

Lytham St Annes is a seaside town in the Borough of Fylde in Lancashire, England. It is on the Fylde coast, directly south of Blackpool on the Ribble Estuary. The population of the built-up area at the 2021 census was 42,695. The town is made up of the four areas of Lytham, Ansdell, Fairhaven and St Annes-on-the-Sea.
With an expansive sandy beach (which you can view in this video), Victorian pier, historic windmill, a 'royal' golf course and stylish independent shops, the dual seaside towns of Lytham and St Annes continue to remind us why we all love the British seaside so much.

Loved the windmill and seaside visit, really love chilly and rainy weather. Lived in the desert 9 years of our lives 😝 No fan of that! Sure hope y’all remembered to give Poppy 🌺❤️ her dessert 😘

Great vid again !! . Lovely to see the old train carriage repurposed, many years ago when I was a child my great aunt and uncle had an old train carriage that was converted into a caravan , it was just plonked in a field close to Blackpool , it was beautiful inside all polished wood and rich fabrics.

@@LancashireLarks All I remember is it was a field outside Blackpool , I doubt it would still be there as it was nearly 50 years ago . They sold it and then rented a cottage on a farm

@@LancashireLarks brilliant , it was painted deep red with cream edging outside and had 3 steps at the side to get to the door , I know it was near Blackpool because after visiting my parents would take me into Blackpool . That’s all I remember unfortunately but if you can find anything that would be brilliant, the family used to have photos of it but I don’t know what happened to them
Lovely to see the windmill looking great , it was very dilapidated and vandalised when I was a child

My hometown did something similar with a train that no longer was useful, they made sure it was kid safe and put it in a nearby park for us kids to play on. Hello from Indiana, it's very hot here right now could use the rain. Both of my grandparents lived through both World Wars; my grandfather was born in 1901 and my grandmother in 1912.

Looks freezing😂. We've just got back from a sunny winter walk in tee-shirts. Went to the Adelaide Hills, Brown Hill Creek. Gorgeous today. Fingers crossed for you the weather gets better soon.

Lytham St Annes is the postal address. They are two separate places. Lytham and St Annes On The Sea.

Beautiful place to visit! June 14 was my Birthday, but I have not been feeling well for the past week. Do you remember Monty Python flying circus 🎪 lol 😂😂😂 that show used to have me in stitches. Happy you took us along sorry the weather was bad. Colette needs to buy a warm coat or warm raincoat. You could always give her yours!

Thank you for taking us to Lytham! I've never been there. It's the same weather where I am down south. It's even colder than last month. I think Summer has been cancelled in the UK lol.

My Nan had a dolly tub and if she was looking after me when I was small and needed to do a job she used to pop me in the dolly tub so she could hear me clunking around in it so she could do her jobs without worrying about where I was Lol
