Definitely. The interviewer had an opportunity to be pretty rude, but props to asking questions that didn't degrade Jimmer. It feels like a lot of media still views youtubers as entertainment, and not skill, so it's bloody awesome to see an interview like this. Props to the interviewer on that.
@@briscaf1tv Thought I recognised the voice! That explains a bunch. Already found you a very skilled interviewer at stockcar racing so not surprised you've moved up. Keep up the good work!
Jommy Bringlebrick is by far one of my favorite globe liquor cabinet enthusiasts. He's not a bad a racing driver either. Just a generally, all around good guy.
Can just see Jimmy's grandfather smiling from ear to ear and beaming so bright with joy that he is the brightest thing in heaven. He would be so happy for Jimmy.
I love how those masks have given everyone a "stroking my beard thoughtfully" mannerism in their interviews. Jimmy is such a heartwarming example of "humble guy puts in years of agonizing work to achieve overnight success".
Most wise people know that hard work gets you "somewhere", but you need that little bit of timing and luck in addition to have something as ridiculous as Jimmy's present life happen to you. People who have the "I DID THIS! IT WAS ALL ME! I AM IN COMMAND OF MY DESTINYYYY!!!" mindset are generally delusional. Jimmy knows that it's a combination of factors, such as the hard work he's put in, the community that stands with him (and him never taking them for granted, ever.) and the opportunities that present themselves when you've gotten "big" enough to draw eyes and ears. He always gives off this "we did this! You helped make this happen! Couldn't have done it without you!" vibe with all his viewers, and it is so beautiful to see this attitude from a guy who could just as well have become a self absorbed pompous piece of garbage. He could have been the Jake Paul of sim racing with the status he has in the community. But he naturally became the absolute inverse of that. As youtubers go, Jimmy is top shelf. The guy knows how to nurture a community for sure :)
I can honestly say I never watched a multi-class race until I followed Jimmy. It has been a joy following him through this journey. He is a great example that, if you have the heart and work ethic, you can do anything.
How awesome has it been to watch Jimmy throughout the years to this stage, well done jimmer, you're an inspiration to us all! And a gentleman to boot, on ya mate 💪
@@nigeldepledge3790 I was lucky enough to briefly talk to Jem on the day. Apparently the issue was electrical, probably linked to the Snetterton DNF in race 1. This was between races and she hoped the issue wasn't in the loom, but was instead in the wheel. From R2, I guess whatever they did was still an issue at the start, so they lost the 2 laps.
As much as I love that sim racing is proving itself in real world racing, you should go introduce all the drivers in the paddock who have supported BARC for years to make the racing what it is.

Jimmy is fast becoming a real star, and he's a great communicator and advocate for motorsports. It's only a matter of time before a sim racer becomes a champion. It could be Jimmy.

The Pride of Somalia is now the Pride of FreeSports, the home of Monster Jam, Monday Night Pool, SHL, KHL, Elite League ice hockey, and other such good stuff. I do believe that this is taken from a programme called "Full Throttle".
Hello fellow Jimmy fans!! Looking to buy tickets for the next race at Silverstone (3rd Jun) and the event doesn't seem to be listed on their sale site! Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏 Thanks in advance.
You know you're a real racing driver when you have to keep adjusting the poorly fitting mask every 10 seconds during an interview, that's some F1 stuff right there.
Beeing a bit cheeky by the reporter about bringing viewers in Jimmy's racing endeavour. If at all Jimmy brought alot of new viewers to BTCC. Otherwise solid interview.
Jimmer, Jimbo, Shaq Villeneuve, Sheddy Irvine, James Wanglebork. The legend.

Jimmy is such a lovely fella. Always comes across well. The pride of Somalia.

The interviewer seems like a great guy! He asked some great questions, especially that last one
I agree and since the interviewer mentioned that he's subscribed to Jimmer's channel, I believe he's actually interested.
Seriously, covered a bunch of topics and the questions were genuinely interesting

I feel that. Those masks simply won't fit right for me too.
Jeez, I'd be dead in no time. He never stopped fiddling with it!
You could do the same for f1 drivers, those multi-use masks seem to be designed to come loose.
I think in the last half it was just his muscle memory from having to hold his own little mic he uses for his videos
