Where are such wide boats used? Surely not on a lot of the UKs narrow canals, and certainly not made to go through some of the very narrow tunnels.

£630k is a silly price.
You can still just about buy a similar standard two bed flat in London for that.
Not in Chelsea or Fulham but certainly other reasonable areas.
