    Why haven’t you routed the front brake hose and clutch cable inside the panels? It’ll rub the paint in no time like that.

    • @tryordiegarage
      @tryordiegarage  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The clutch cable I will but the brake line is not long enough, a new owner can put a longer one on 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Things I would like to or not see in future videos
    1.Less negativity towards yourself because you give yourself little credit to what your capable of I mean look at what you started with to what you finished with,amazing work.
    2.Being careful of leaving address details in the open on camera most of us do not care about your address but there is always that one c@nt.
    3.Maybe taking your stress moments off camera although I do not take much notice myself most people come on youtube to relax and be positive and learn.
    4.Calling yourself a idiot, all I see is a guy trying to learn how to restore a bike there will be mistakes and stressful moments but seeing your videos on this project I can definitely say your far from it. (maybe change a couple of lines in your intro?)
    5.Keep any mistakes you make on your projects in the video so others can learn from your mistakes and keeping your videos directly informative about your project and trying not to go off topic as you would call it rambling on (saying that I found the first 5 minutes of ep 18 funny as I know how that feels).
    6.when you keep saying sorry if this is boring...it is not boring at all this will be exactly in real time what the average person would run into and your showing us its not a 5 minute job like some of the more popular channels like to skip to make it appear easier than it actually is.
    This is just my opinion on your project take some or none of it as you wish, I have noticed you got better at presentation and more verbally positive as your videos went on (great to see) Thank You for sharing your journey with us.

      @@RDMROFSOULS cheers my friend, I appreciate the comments, suggestions and insights. I agree with all of them, beating up myself has become a hobby unfortunately. I used to be very successful by today's standards, but have become a failure by my own 🤷🏻‍♂️ but am working on it...I think 🤣 as for not filming mistakes and missing successes, that is because I will stew on something, rush back to the garage and start tinkering for hours completely forgetting to film 🤣 anyway appreciate you brother!

      @@tryordiegarage I understand no rest till the jobs done right, I am similar in that regards when something needs doing especially on the bike anyway tunnel vision kicks in, also just believe in yourself and make that your hobby instead, looking forward to seeing your next project whenever the time comes

    It's a shame that all the mods you done to it ruin the chance of making it an historic/MOT exempt and free road tax. That would have been an extra plus point to help with the sale. Lovely looking bike though, I'm sure that it stops and handles better than the original.

    • @tryordiegarage
      @tryordiegarage  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Assuming I send pictures of this iteration and not the original, I have all the original parts and could literally bolt them on in under an hour...🤷🏻‍♂️ There are no restrictions on modifying historic vehicles.

    • @steveclark..
      @steveclark.. 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@tryordiegarage The problem is when you are stopped by a copper who knows a thing or too about older vehicles. I know of a Honda rider who's been reported/investigated due to such a copper noticing that his historic CB1000 has upside down forks and a modern swing arm so it's no longer an 'historic' vehicle so should now have an MOT.

      @@steveclark.. The following are considered acceptable (not substantial) changes if they fall into
      these specific categories:
      • changes of a type, that can be demonstrated to have been made when
      vehicles of the type were in production or in general use (within ten years of
      the end of production);
      • in respect of axles and running gear changes made to improve efficiency,
      safety or environmental performance;

    • @steveclark..
      @steveclark.. 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tryordiegarage It's a bit of a 'can of worms' and open to debate when it comes to what parts etc. Going by what this Hónda owner told me and looking at the mods that you have done, you have zero chance óf passing the historic status. Ultimately the cops, judge, DVLA will decide.
