Civilians were angy because of codamage but quoted major "sir" while making evidence On the contrary , sf major clearly said that anything happens is on him and he's liable for the consequences being the atmost rank personal. We can clearly see what's happening in pok , Tibet , gwadar, afganistan. People are fighting with soldiers, killing them just to make them come into headlines but what we seen here is true example of mature talk :)

Although they have been protected under section 6 of AFSPA but still there is inquiry, reporting and proceedings in Army tribunal and commision. 1990s when I was posted in Srinagar there are certain cases of extra judicial execution and collerteral damage but even then accountability was fixed. Which show the professional and discipline of our Army. Mistake happens and some innocent do dies. But army tries to avoid such mistakes as possible. Mon Naga episode was a botched op. And tribal reaction even 2 para troops also died in clashes. Which further aggravated the situation. Result use of force as last resort.
