You touched on something that drives me crazy with this video. My wife and I have owned 4 different Mercedes over the past 6 years and the loaners we get are always kind of disgusting. I was given a GLE 53 recently and as soon as I got on the road a tire pressure warning light came on so I stopped and filled it up but that's not the thing that annoys me the most about Mercedes loaners. I think they vacuum them and make sure they have gas in them but that's probably about it. We have nice cars and we keep them in like new condition and the loaners we get are nice cars, E class sedans, C class cabriolet, GLE 53 but the most common is probably the E class sedan. Doesn't matter though, they are never wiped down on the interior, the surfaces you touch or look at most when you drive a car. I've complained about this but it never does any good. I typically drive the loaner to work and on my lunch time I go buy some microfiber cloths and cleaning supplies and give the interior and windows a good clean. I don't think any of the loaners I get have been as bad as this though.

Just bought my wife a GLB 250. For a 4cyl turbo and dual clutch trans it’s actually pretty quick and changes gears fast. The thing that sucks is, we are on vacation in Florida now and a truck threw up a rock and cracked our brand new Mercedes windshield.

Once I had to clean a rental so I did what you did, it wasn’t expensive at all, a second one I had to replace the brake pads 😅 because it was done nothing left of it, the guy gave me a extra day 🥰 nice people.
Should’ve hooked up the coolant pressure tester so you’d find the leak instead of just putting a bandaid and refilling with coolant. There’s got to be a leak somewhere considering it was that low.
I got my new Mercedes in March this year. There is no reset in my car, when you fill any of the fluids / air / anything else they automatically remove the warning lights.
That’s how it’s supposed to be I have a Mercedes too The one in the video is the same way I’m pretty sure only older cars need a reset or even have one for that matter 😁
The Coolant reservoir under the engine cover is for the low temp cooling system (Air Charge Cooling) The one on the inner Fender is for High temp Res for the Engine cooling..
I Turo’D a GLE “coupe” AMG 63 for my bday last year and it was nice and fun to cruise in but I would probably get the wagon instead. The 400 wagon felt more maneuverable,livable and practical for hauling things, I can only imagine what a new 63 wagon is like.

Love it. I used to clean the cars of visitors to our house when I was a kid. It was always nice to see their surprise when they went to go home. I gotta say the squashed back on the SUV coupes looks horrific to me. They do nothing better than a 'normal' SUV, just have less room inside and look like an elephant has sat on them. IMO

Don’t worry you’re not the only one. I rented a RV for a 5000 mile road trip. When I picked it up it was disgusting inside and out. I washed the outside before leaving but spent the first two days on the road cleaning and disinfecting the interior on the road while my wife drove. Before returning it we gave it a good cleaning again. Unfortunately, the owner the owner didn’t say a word during the post inspection when I returned it.

He could argue the car needed coolant and a wash for it to be acceptable to use.
Big coolant tank is for the main cooling system, the smaller one is the secondary cooling system for things like the water to air cooler for the turbo

I like the GLE but the GLC AMG 43 coupe hits all the sweet spots. We have a 2020 and it’s awesome. Quick and practical.
