    Dig the strap I'm using in this video? It's handmade. I love it. You can get one here: bit.ly/revostrap

    What a bomb video !! Hi Jared! I am so happy I found your channel! I watched dozens of videos over last few days. This is such an incredible channel. Truly the best channel for guitar I've seen and I am following TH-cam guitar channels for years. I probably didn't find your channel cause I mostly play rock while your channel is mostly jazz. Recently I wanted to learn more advanced chords, which is how I found this channel. I'm a fan! incredible material you got here. thanks for all your work and help !!

    Massive props to you, Jared. Demonstrating harmonics without drenching the sound in fuzzy goodness to help you out 🫡

    What a great video, Jared! I totally didn’t realize that the string doesn’t vibrate at the spot where you play the harmonic. Mind blowing!

    Dimebag from Pantera was the monster of harmonics. Thanks for the science master class.

    The first time I heard a harmonic was on the Beatles Nowhere Man. This is why I love your channel I learn so much.

    Great topic, thank you! Will the process still work If the guitar is not precisely intonated?

    • @soundguitar
      @soundguitar  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question! Thanks for asking. Yep, harmonics work the same always regardless of the guitar's intonation.

    Fun facts about harmonics.
    Everything you wanted to know about harmonica, but we're afraid to ask (or didn't know what to ask).
    Thanks, I guess! 🤪

    btw: the 2nd harmonic is not a pure note, it's also got the 4th and 8th ... harmonics in it. So the main point is that 2nd harmonic is a cleaner version of the octave you get by pressing down completely on 12th fret.

    Question - is it possible to play multiple harmonics together? Like I’m fretting a g major so would it be possible to play all the notes as harmonics together

    Is this an ad for a microphone and boom arm? If not, can someone tell this guy the mircrophone and boom arm are blocking the view of what's going on with the guitar lesson.
