I've been running this leader and trying to crack the code to win meta with this deck for at least 2 months now. The build with the kids and the bigger brothers is strong and wins well, but it only wins if you NEVER brick. If you brick leader effect even once the entire game or don't have the right combination of little kids for big guys you will lose even to the worst deck you've even gone against, and this deck does not do well agains decks that populate their fields a lot, like BYLuffy and Lucci who has enough removal to leave you with absolutely nothing and still keep a board, which makes red roc a must. This decks just bricks all the time it breaks my heart, i love this leader. Now i've been experimenting with no kids build and its much more consistent, with 4 red rocs, tons of kill triggers, like o-nami and thunderbolt, and using cost 5 sabo from st13 too, and plenty of cards to take advantage of having a temporary life on top, and running either cost 2 block shirahoshi's or kikunojo's and cost 5 yellow denjiro's for more life gain and field protection against removal especially against black
I just started, and I saw the Three Bothers deck at a shop. Didn't grab it, and went back for it cause I regretted it. Glad to see there's something fun I can do with these cards! Sweet video!
I really like running eb01 viola. Especially on a turn where you wiff or can't get the buff to 7k leader. Allows you to heal and get a blocker out. It's low cost and no power so it's easy to remove but I like being able to heal
I see the vision, but I feel 8 2ks that get value off of leader effect is more than enough. I’d honestly much rather draw an extra card or be able to set up a trigger in life than get a blocker out that’s probably just going to be removed. It might just be preference though as I like to play this deck a lot more fast paced and viola just feels a bit slow.
@@AwakenedTCG understandable. Definitely depends on match up. Ive been experimenting a lot recently. Right now I'm doing all three brothers just trying to get to 7k each turn and swinging 9k. So it might just work better for the build since the deck isn't as consistent so if I wiff I at least have that option. I really like the stuff you can do with your life in this deck. I even run a couple makino for matchups I like to go aggro in. Let's you get to two life pretty quick if you get lucky with big brothers in life. I don't prioritize it but it's some cool tech. If I don't want to use it, it's just a 2k. Love by ace glad he's getting some love!
I love B/Y Ace. Unfortunatly is not doing great at my locals with a record of 2-2 and 1-3. Too many Enels and Bonnies which i think are this leader nightmare. MY list is similar, i'm runnig gravity instead of flame split and 4 puddings. That's mostly to remove annoying blockers like sabo, queen, kid or hawkins.
I run almost the same deck! I'm definitely going to try out a couple Blaze Slices. I've also been running two 2c Viola and like it a lot. You can flip a life back over from your Leader ability, or look at all your opponents life cards and fudge things up! Plus it's a 1k counter and blocker! Edit: Oh I see everyone is suggesting this haha

I love your videos, they're so fucking funny. I wanted to ask you a question, how do you record the games? Does the local store you go to have a set up or do you go with your own equipment?
Honestly don’t have too much experience in the matchup, but I’d pretty much say ignore their board as much as possible when buffing leader. I think the best strategy against black decks in general is to go face and put them in positions where they have to choose between KOing your board or developing a blocker.
What do you think about the new searcher event coming out in OP08? I see some lists run it but it feels like not very useful as you can’t get baby Ace from it. Feels like the original event which can search for the three brothers is better for BY Ace.
So I’ve actually been liking it. You can still search out baby Luffy with it and even if you see a baby Ace you can still leave it at the top to draw on your next turn. I’m really enjoying it for consistency purposes as you can bottom deck the 2 cards you don’t grab if you don’t like them or guarantee you have the brother you need in leader effect on the next turn. Also it searches the new 10 cost Newgate 👀
I run U/Y Ace as main and I was so happy to go 2-2 last Friday at locals! So I appreciate the Ace love! IMO blocker ace is the best card in the deck haha. I'm tweaking my list constantly, recently put in Viola to flip life if needed but also cheap blocker and also using 10c draw Kaido. I see you didn't choose Viola or a bigger hitter than Boa. Did they not work for you or is it something you don't feel is necessary? I tried blocker Doffy search but it was never that efficient, I did think of adding Desert Spada too for counter 2k and top 3 search but haven't stuck with it. I can't wait for st17 Marshall D. Teach for this deck, I think it'll be insane along with the 1c ace event!
Viola blocker has always felt super lackluster to me as just flipping down your free life isn’t really the value I’m looking to get with this leader. Her and Kaido may be better in a slower paced Ace deck, but this version is pretty much centered around just hitting face. Also even if Kaido can make your late game better, unfortunately the best decks all have a wayyy better late game than us, so I choose to play to the strengths of the leader with constant aggression. IMO if you’re ever not in a position to finish off a deck like Lucci around their late game turns, you’ve already lost as they can easily outpace you.
B/Y Ace is one of my mains as well. Posted a SPICY build on my channel that I won my locals with. The catch… no little brothers package if you can believe it. Just 5c Good Stuff/Cheeky Heal (and some nice top end to boot). Let me know what you think!

@@deceptishaun9931 with the Bans I think BY Ace shines a bit more, since your top end sticks more easily and you can feel a bit more safe playing out your wennies on 2 or 3 DON!! since no more Bottom Law. I've since adapted my build to run just the Ace brothers package, and seeing moderate success. Also my OG build (and current one) do run x2 Grav Blade. it's too valuable of a card not to - migh've been cropped out on the picture I posted. headed to locals tonight with my latest version of the deck, so we'll see how it goes!
Law definitely wasn’t a winning matchup unless you saw the nuts and Lucci with stage was really rough as they could easily remove any board you threw at them. No Law is great and Lucci with no stage means they usually can’t remove your 5 cost that you played from life on 4 DON and the game can usually snowball from there. Overall in a lot better of a spot, but unfortunately will still be held back by inconsistency.

I’ve tried 10 Ace in this deck but it always ends up feeling like I can’t play it when I’d want to. Tapping all 10 DON feels a bit too risky sometimes especially when you’re at 0 or 1 life remaining.
So glad Law was banned cause he was ssooooooooo op hahah 😂 like folks don’t get it how inconsistent that deck can be and how if you don’t see what you need for removal you are screwed But they banned him cause oh boy Asia gotta just overload on playing him Great play and I have a deck of BY ace I’m excited to play him at some point
Pudding is your best friend in that matchup. Plan is to keep hitting 9k to face just like every other matchup. They will always take to 0 and then you drop pudding when they’re at 9-10 cards in hand and basically auto win the match

thats why i play the yellow Edward Newgate. He sets up your top so you dont whiff

I might have to try this variant. I was running a version with fewer flampes and others to run gblade and removal. This looks more consistent
How come you dont run any Namules? I felt like it was a good 3c whitebeard blocker that sets up top of life

why not pilaf? going first is nut, on 3 don, and on 7 dons, and if you trigger is god

The deck is very inconsistent and highly depends on top decking. This has never even got any traction in the japan meta.
