Koizumi >>> Miyamoto
While Miyamoto's a legend veteran, Koizumi has always integrated a bizarre and new creativity into every game he has worked on (Odyssey, Majora's Mask, and Links Awakening to name a few), a creativity never really seen in other Nintendo games.
I respect Miyamoto, but even I cant deny his influence has lead to the downpoints of many modern nintendo franchises due to his rigid belief on game design.
Totally agree, since the start of his career he has helped sneak in new ideas to gameplay and story development. All the games he has worked on have such unique concepts and designs. I did not even realize the gravity of him being a head director till now. Thanks for the enlightenment
He turned Rosalina into a three dimensional character, by writing a whole backstory about her on his own in a single night (I think)!! Isn't this awesome? :D
Completely agree. In fact I'm actually really glad Miyamoto wasn't in charge of making Odyssey. Because if he was, he would've given it the Sticker Star/NSMB treatment. Have all NPCs as toads only, only contain enemies from the NSMB games, have the bosses be the koopalings only, have Bowser turn giant for the millionth time etc.
that's not true at all and I mean what's wrong with the NDMB series?seeing as ow he is basicly the master or king of Mario and even Zelda he remember that he was the execudive producer for galaxy whitch still no koopalings in the 3d games I wish they would appear atleast once

Nintendo you’re incredible before odyssey I hadn’t played a new mario game since galaxy 2.
No other mario game had interested me since then. So I thought I was done with the franchise. But you weren’t done with me, Odyssey was not only one of my favorite games of 2017, It brought back the inner child in me the one who grew up playing your games.

Super koizumi oddysey
I first got this game Christmas Day 2017. I beat the main story mode in 4 days with about 165 moons. About a week later, I got to dark side and beat the Robo Broodal. A month later I got to Darker Side of the moon and spent about 2 weeks trying to beat it (I was only 11 years old at the time). After beating it, I took a break for the game, though I’m not really sure why. I came back at the beginning of quarantine in 2020 and was immediately reminded of how much fun I had back when I first got the game. For the next month and a half, I went from the 503 power moons that I had after first beating darker side, to getting all 880 collectible story moons, got 999 power moons, found and spent all purple coins in every kingdom to get all stickers and models for the Odyssey, got all costumes, and fully 100% beat the game. I had never felt so accomplished. During December 2020, I even went back to do the infinite jump rope glitch to get 99,999 jumps in the metro kingdom jump rope minigame.
This is one of my favorite mainline Mario games, and still holds a special place in my heart. It was the most hype I’ve ever had for a video game.
I love this game.

I actually like that, if people find those types of places or errors, also depends on the difficulty to achieve them, instead of fixing them, it instead rewards you for finding those areas.

My question to everyone is, who gave up trying to get 100 jump ropes and bought a Power Moon? Just wanted to see if I wasn't the only one
Waheed Abdullah That doesn't really do much considering you don't need every power moon to progress to the end of the game and also if you DID want to 100% the game you have to get all the actual moons anyway. You can't just buy moons, you need all 880 of the actual acquirable ones. So purchasing just one moon in substitute of a hard challenge really doesn't make sense or mean anything.
Either way, it was a little hard I suppose.
SinVex That wasn't my point. I never said you could 100% the game without buying moons. You have to buy 119 of them. But anything over 119 is wasted money since you have to get the 880 physical ones. My entire point was that the dude's comment was asking people if they gave up on a specific moon and just bought it. As in... one moon. As in... That's kind of pointless lol.
Also, you can't turn the Odyssey's balloon color gold unless you get those 880 moons anyway (which in turn is part of "100%"). You can get 999 moons through buying them, but if all 880 physically acquired ones aren't part of that, you'll just have the regular color. Of course, you can still go back and get them even at 999 moons to make it go gold, you just won't see a number increase past 999 and it's wasted money essentially. Then there's the postcard, costumes, all the purple coin items, hat on top of Peach's castle, etc.
SinVex What exactly am I not getting according to you? My entire point was that skipping a moon at any point stops you from getting a true 100%. He has to purchase 119 moons either way yes, but his entire comment was asking people "hey did anyone think the jump rope was too hard and did you end up just buying the moon lol?"
And i said that comment makes no sense because for casuals who just want to experience the story or get to the next stage, you only need a small portion of the level's total moons. You can beat the game with like 200 or whatever. And if you're a completionist, you can't skip any moons, so you wouldn't skip it.

Yoshiaki Koizumi thank you for the perfect Super Mario Odyssey ( I had to look at the box to spell that! ) It was one of the best games I've ever played even though I can't beat the Darker Side yet, It's still amazing. My favorite kingdom was either: Wooded Kingdom (Steam Gardens), Seaside Kingdom (Bubblaine), Snow Kingdom (I forgot the name) and Moon Kingdom (I also forgot the name). Some of my favorite music is: Bonneton, Steam Gardens 8-Bit, Lake Lamode Underwater Passage, Tostarena Night 8-Bit, New Donk City Night 1, Bowser's Castle 2, Mollusque-Lanceur Battle 8-Bit, RoboBrood Battle, Run Jump Throw! 2 8-Bit, Subterranean 1 8-Bit, Subterranean 2, Caves, Another World and RC Car (Because it sounds like a Mario Kart track). Thank you so much for this stunning game that in my oppinion is very successful!
