There's something about this instrument that just resonates really deeply with me.
Same here...since i have discovered the handpan, I cant listen to anything else and get the same feeling....

Same here. It's so magical and just strikes some sort of cord in my heart. Like every time I hear it my breath is taken away.

they should industrialize in high scale, but i think there is some ideology behind this productions. i dont agree with that. such a beautiful instrument should be in the hands of the world!

I kind of see where you are coming from and i also see a lot of destruction in the world and there is many bad people to blame.
But your commentary is a fascistic and dangerous one. One which i would expect from "non-good" people.
I hope you understand i do not mean to insult you. But every bad thing that every happens comes from an elitist approach. And that is what you are statement is; elitist.
It does not matter if this instrument falls into the wrong hands.
Only the right hands with good intentions will make it sound truly the way it should sound.

I agree! Everybody can be part of this "Movement". But I think an instrument can be played by evil people as well and it sounds the same :P sorry. Better prevent bad people from getting it.
Maybe in todays society you need to be an elitist to escape from bad habits and go new ways with your companions.. Like going Vegan, saving energy, buying electric cars, demonstrate for freedom,less war.
Because the normal individual is supporting all bad things we have in the world right now.. Poverty, War and Destruction are made by this society.

in the tradition of my drum masters mamady Keita and Famoudou Konate, there are 3 levels .. there is the the Fola .. like in djembefola he who makes the djembe sing , than there is the djembe tigy ( teegee) he who is one of the best of is kind and than there is the NANKAMA he who was born for this... respect to you my Nankama friend

+Robert Daignault You guys seriously do not realise how easy these things are to play actually. i used to play several instruments over the past years and as i got my hands on one of those hand pans it wasnt hard at all to create an awesome sound. well played and awesome video though :)

I don't normally pay much attention to handpan videos. I often get frustrated when people only play simple two handed "Right-Left-Right-Left-Right-Left..." patterns on them. It gets pretty boring and frustrating.
However, this is something else. This is stunning music, unlike any playing I've ever seen before. It's absolutely wonderful and very creative. Excellent show, sir.
