Baseless analysis,
1st consider total marks us reduced by 250 that is 1750 , how could you reduce 100 marks from last year cut off
Apart from this
1. Seat is 683
2. 4 no. Of GS papers
3.single optional ( minimum chance of biased optional scores like odia/ forestry/ agri...)
4. Minimum gaps during exam ( least in opsc history)
5. Tough to moderate questions with lengthy paper
So its mindless analysis to just reduce 100 marks from last year cut off . This is what happens when someone predicts without apearing exam.
If upsc style of evaluation is adopted (which opsc is slowly adopting) cut off for interview will be around 700 to 730 for UR and most probably marking will be tight it will be difficult to score 100 in GS papers .
Agreed. But don't get harsh on him. He was reluctant to predict any score. some students forced him to do so.
Besides that he already mentioned that he had not appeared in the exam and it is his POV.. So be polite. Don't be rude.
@@subhendusahoo1679 I'm no rude but practical it's better not jump into any conclusion without analysing all factors which makes the analysis irrational and futile. He is a good guy and to maintain his credibility he must look into all these factors.

Right analysis sir. I ve given the exam . Gs was moderate to difficult. Optional was easy . 3 hr exam very analytical questions. In that time we have to think about the answer write it in a structure and time management was the crucial part of the exam.very lengthy

Faltu cutoff analysis without going through all aspect like huge vacancy, pattern change, first time introduce and weightage of optional reduce... don't compare previous cutoff with recent pattern...

Yes...below 30% rakhile fail means below 75 marks
As per upsc,10% is qualifing marks for each paper,but opsc not follow it, only follow the question pattern,and mark distribution

@@PrakashSirGeneralStudies Sir, I mean to say, I appeared for all the gs and compulsory papers , but was not able to appear for my optional subject (2022 OCS mains examination) . So , whether my papers will be evaluated or not? As I have appeared for other papers except the optional paper, so can I see my marks for those papers for which I have appeared or no papers will be evaluated cause I haven't appeared for the optional papers.
