That Wiha set make a great set for service work but I don't use them for installation work, fixed blade every time for installation or like you say, bits will get lost. If you want to reduce what you carry on your body, try the Wiha magazine bit handle, six of your more commonly used slimline bits in the handle and one in the handle ready for use. They should use the same slimline bits you have in that set so you may just buy the handle. I have used one for years now and have three handles, at least ! and the selection of bits available is vast.

Love a bit of the midfield General. Is the nut driver metric? The only one I've seen was imperial, I ended up getting the Irwin one it's 6 in 1 metric size but really heavy.

Never had a Tracer ink marker that has not leaked ink yet, who can always guarantee that they are kept in the same position all the time ? ink everywhere, tool vest,pouch and bag. Marxman are good for deep holes such as external sounder back plates but, unless you use regular, they clog , only threw yet another one away recently for that very same reason, along with a brand new one I had as a spare...
Dan, those Fluke testers are what you should be using for you primary test for the presence of mains voltages and not a multimneter... Remember me last year saying I had a couple of handy little things for you and you were going to let me know where to send them ? Well, I still have them here, and guess what... some a fuse pullers for those pesky wee 20mm glass fuses, plus something else related. All you have to do is get somewhere for me to end them to.
So about where to send stuff, my wife is very wary of the Internet and one of the things I promised her on doing this channel was that I wouldn't give out my address. There are companies I work with and I know a few people on you tube personally. Of course I don't think your anyone to worry about it's just I promised I would never give out my identity or my address on here. Hope you understand. I do appreciate you thinking of me though
@@danstoolroom7700 Fair enough ,I was until a month or so a Vat Registered business for many, many years, probably for longer that some others you may recieve kit from and in this game, and qualified, with certificates, plus have taught C&G at a college (Alarm Installation) If you buy of an individual on Ebay... they have your address !! think on that last one.
@@danstoolroom7700 It's not a problem as I know engineers that all ask for first shots at a trolley dash at my place as...I have more tools than them put together and now as I am more of less retired, they know I won't be using them as much or at all . If you remember, you were stiing up a PO box for such situations ? I did work for the largest security company in the world for maybe 13 years.. I get a pension from them now !! that is handy. I still have no idea how they let me work in bullion centres and bank vaults !
Yeah I'm ahead of you there the knipex one I have is a more expensive model it also has induction hardened blades and this klein does not. But you can get the options in the klein as well

This new one is a metric edition yes, it is also very heavy though

When you do compare the Knipex to Klein note Klein makes Linemans with a crimper and fiahtape puller aswell on there 60 dollar pair
