I am so sad the Big is gone. I was always team Big. Carrie might have had better boyfriends, Aiden. But it was always Big.This was a beautiful compilation. Thank you Mr. Big and the rest of the STAC cast for making a world I have loved for so many years.

I cried too! I watched each episode a hundred times and the first movie about 5 times. was not a huge fan of the second movie, but for me, besides Samantha, SATC was Carrie and Big. I feel like a family member died.

There’s such great chemistry 💕 between SJP & Chris Noth in every scene , which always made the relationship so totally believable. He has brooding intensity as Big ( and his eyebrows do a good bit of acting 🎭 on their own.) Simply cannot believe they killed off his character 😢 - as if life hasn’t been miserable enough of late, so IMAO - boo 😒 - bad move!
The way Big looks at Carrie in the eyes and says: Carrie Bradshaw...love of my life" gives me goosebumbs every single time. I've always loved these two

I was not prepared for this to happen at all. Mr. Big was an intrict part of the show. It seems like the rest of this new part of the series could be a bummer. Have to wait and see I guess. Not a good beginning that's for sure. 😒......

I cried a lot over the death of this character, I love this couple and their evolution, they were imperfect but perfect one for other. I was so looking forward to AJLT and definitely not ready for it. You made me cry even more, but thank you so much for this work of art.

I can definitely relate to this as I've had the ultimate love with my husband and soulmate TOO, like Carrie, but we only had two and a half years to enjoy our married life together before my precious much younger husband died, as opposed to Carrie's much older Mr. Big.

What an amazing Job at this compilation. It does their love justice. My heart is broken for Big's Death but I completely understand why they did that and I appreciate the way they addressed it. As someone who has lost the man she loved the most Carrie's reaction and process is so relatable.

I’m NOT crying 😭. I was SO not prepared for Mr Big to die. My heart broke 💔 right along with hers as he died in her arms. I was ALWAYS cheering 📣 for team Big. The way he looks at her, makes your knees buckle and sends chills down your spine. These 2 were soulmates. How do you move forward when 1/2 of you is gone? This was SO beautifully done. 🙏🏽💔😭👠

Bigs death has made me want to forget this new series and turn back to the original show and happier days. There's so many people that have passed in life, I'm shocked that they'd do this in the first episode of all times. 😢
There’s just something so inherently sad and lonesome about time and our loved ones and getting old… one day they will pass and there’s no forever ever after… I cried a lot with this chapter.
that was the plot when it was going to be a movie...then Samantha bowed out so instead of killing her off, they kept the original plot with the other three actresses.

I hated the fact Big died. But on reflection I think it was a fitting end to the love story.

He smoked, drank and a high powered stressful job. Not to mention previous heart scares.
At 67 , 11 years old than Carrie it is plausible it should end like this.

"Carrie, you're the one" ... I have the box set & movies (which I went to the movie theater to see when they came out). I was a fan when this first came on HBO back in the late 90's. I love this montage/song to show Carrie & Big from early days together to the end of the last movie and scenes from the new chapter. I don't get HBO & had not made up my mind if I wanted to leave it with the last movie, but I will probably get HBO just so I can watch "And Just Like That'" because I am a BIG fan of Chris Noth from the earlly days of his "Law & Order" shows and was saddened when I started seeing this video that his character suffers a heart attack. I may need to reconsider getting HBO just to tune into this new chapter. Great montage and the song by Eric Paslay is such a great song to go with this montage. Carrie's greatest LOVE & also the fans who loved their love story

My husband died a few years ago. We were together for 12 years. As a huge SATC fan my love had to watch so many episodes with me.
I know it may sound stupid but Big's death is as sad as it comforts me at the same time. I'm fighting like crazy each day to live without my greatest love. His nickname was Chief. Everybody new him by that name.
Now our stories again follow the same path...
This is really beautiful hun! I am choosing not to watch the series because I am really over characters being killed off for stupid reasons. I was already on the fence about it due the Samantha thing and honestly just wishing to leave it in the past. This was a rare show that had a perfect series finale, but the movies and now the reboot have messed with it too much for me. I don't like them giving Carrie and Big a happy ending only to rip it away for entertainment value - because someone needs to be "dating". It's okay for shows to just end. lol
But anyway, your Carrie/Big videos have always been so incredible! This was no exception. You had me tearing up! The amazing parallels and everything you connected were so perfect! My heart is breaking. I can't sing your praises enough! Thank you for all your lovely edits about these two. I treasure them all!

If Carrie was living happily ever after there would be nothing to write about in the new series. Remember: the second movie ended in 2010, so in the last 11 years there has been no drama at all (apart from Samantha apparently moving to London and abandoning her best friends - which she would never do).
And Just Like That is definitely not the same without Chris Noth. Loved him.
