- You know we had to do it right?!?? On my 2018 FK8 CTR, I had something from the road fly up from another vehicle and it put three dents and a scratch in my passenger door. Luckily I was able to sand out the scratch and my friend Michael from The Dent Company was able to repair the dented panel. I wasn't taking any chances this time around, so we wrapped the entire car in Suntek's new Reaction paint protection film immediately. The process took over 3 days to complete start to finish, mostly due to the amount of individual pieces on the front and rear bumpers. The next video in this series will document the installation of Xpel's Prime XR Plus infrared window films. We hope you have enjoyed this series so far!

I got Suntek PPF as well. At the time of install, they didn't have the precut software for the 2020 - 2021 CTR front grill.
Nice, how long does this product usually last on car?
How did the Halo hold up on this film after install? I'm getting this film installed soon and am on the fence if I want to apply a coating afterwards. Have used Halo before, also considering CQ Skin. Thanks for the update!
It held up great! I am still very happy with the film. The car now has almost 20k miles on it and it still looks like a brand new car, besides a couple small dings from mountain trips behind other friends with sticky tires. Even then, it has held up to punctures VERY well considering how I drive it.

Great job on the civic! I heard the reaction has a pretty aggressive adhesive. What did you find worked well for a slip solution?
Thanks for commenting! My installers loved installing this film, I heard no complaints about it being aggressive or difficult to work with. They use a mixture of baby soap/water and alcohol. I LOVE washing my car with this film. :D
do you think it's necessary to get a ceramic coating on top of the suntek reaction ppf or is that just overkill because I saw it says the reaction has ceramic qualities
We have found it to still be beneficial to apply a ceramic coating on top of the film. Not all coatings will work with all films though, so I cant say you can just slap any coating on any film.

Good job smoking the orange lenses on front fenders - I did same on mine. Just curious if you gave any thought to gloss black vinyl wrap on the roof? Mine is white, and I felt there was too much of it, so I blacked out the roof (similar to LE). It looks better, imo.
I thought about doing the STEK Carbon film, but decided to hold off. I wasnt sure how it would look with the top part of the hatch being painted vs the roof being black and I didnt feel like trying to remove the vortex generators or the sat. antenna.
@@PresidentialDetailing I was in sticker shock over the price of PPF, so I only had the front, rockers, rear fenders, and side mirrors done. I figured vinyl wrap was a cheaper alternative for the roof - so that factored into my decision. Then ceramic coated the whole thing
Where did you get the white seat covers
I believe they actually came from a BMW M3/M4. We do a lot of new car preps straight from the dealership..normally we throw them away. They happened to fit over the CTR seats, so I kept them. :)

What do you guys do for marketing? word of mouth? Google ads? Facebook/instagram ads? ... Interested to know how you guys keep your shop full. Would love to see maybe a detailed blog or video about this or just a dm.
Word of mouth, relationships with other local businesses, social media and a decent website. Nothing paid. Also, youtube does help as well. Thanks for commenting, Ill think about that for a vlog idea in the future.

About 6-7k
Will greatly depend on the experience of your local installer and how far they take it. You can expect anywhere from $6k-10k, sometime less sometimes more. Just do your research on the installer to be sure you get a quality install.
Hilariously expensive. Just drive your car as is. Then get a paint job in the future. Or mainly just do the front of the car
