    I've delivered pizza before and can 100% confirm that these are the kind of coworkers you have to deal with. Some batshit crazy, and some are either sociopaths or psychopaths. Not everybody, but it's a definite pattern.

      I’ve been the customer getting delivery and, although never a delivery driver, in customer service. Every time I get a cool driver (which is 99% of the time), I hope their customers are cool and their coworkers help the shift go by calmly after they leave.

    This was funny, but it’s just Lewis Black reading someone else’s stuff.

    • @rayhoward363
      @rayhoward363 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lewis Black wrote what he is reading ~ ~ ~ First Clue - None of today's teenagers and young adults (up to about 40-years old) can't write a piece over three or four lines long - - and they are devoid of recognizing or having the capacity to create these stories with the intent of passing it off as humor, as their sense of humor is woefully lacking. Black adds the chortle-chortle because he can. When one is purportedly passing along a story from someone else they can contribute leading laughter that automatically urges the audience to participate. If he was laughing at his own material, he would be considered a poor comedian for having to promote response.

      @@rayhoward363 I’m not sure it’s a good idea to reply to a comment from three months ago, but I’m so stricken by your generational hatred. No one under 40 has a sense of humor? I’m old enough to know the feeling of “Man, I do not get kids today,” but your disdain in your comment makes me want to ask, in all seriousness without any mockery, are you ok?

    • @rayhoward363
      @rayhoward363 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@83gemm ~ I can't imagine why it would ever be not not OK to respond to a comment from any time period. I don't have generational hatred, I did not speak anything but the truth. I am around school kids daily of all grades K-12 and live in a large neighborhood of younger parents, therefore based on what I've seen is stated pretty accurately. As for humor witiin the stated ages, it is exactly as written. These people have none. All humor has to be based on a truth that is known to everyone or they won't understand, as they have no relationship with what they are hearing. And, I think they are hesitant to lauggh it up as they fear offending somebody. Today's 40 perhaps 45 and under age group is not aware of a thing unless it has happened in thier lifetime. I find it very disturbing how little history this age group knows. Now, we (you and I) might live in entirely different areas that is made up different types of people. I am surround by what one would think should be perfect for pretty much anything you'd think of, but sadly it is not the case. My area: As I said, a lot of the people ar 45 and below, very high percentage of college degrees to include masters and doctorates. Well above average income with homes ranging from $500,000.00 to around $750,000.00. They all have children with very few exceptions and obviously provide the best of everything to and for them. All of the adults have to be a part of the collective, they gather daily (the women) throughout the neighborhood on each others front porch (usually 4 to 6 in each party) to drink wine. I see all of this as I sit on my porch quiet a bit and listen to low playing music and read or just watch the cars pass, I tell you this to get to my next point. If this wasn't so sad it would be funny (at least to me) the ladies gathering for their wine talk very little, to each other, they all stare at their phones. They are devoid of face to face conversation. Maybe it's the bunch around me but for over 80% of the 45,000 people that live in my little hamlet to have advanced degrees and supposedly socially rounded by todays standards, they appear extremely challenged as to living up to a normal human being. All I know regarding what I spoke of is what I see and hear on a regular basis. By the way, the men are just as nutsy socially. They can't speak without a local beer in their hand.Instead of "generational hatred" as you stated, I simply observe. I am very much OK and I don't hate anybody, I'm simply amused and saddened to see how society is headed, it's not good. A quick story to my point, I have hundreds but this is pretty representative of my previous comments. Back in late June or July of '21 a neighbor had been car shopping with his son and they came home with a nice low mileage Ford Ranger pickup they ran up on and the son liked it so they did a deal. They parked in front of the house and the son summonded me from my porch to come see his new (to him) truck. It was nice for the year and I bragged on it a bit to make him feel even better about his truck. While we were standing talking the father, the son and me; the father said to his son, I noticed the truck needs some gas, he hands the boy a $20.00 bill and suggested that he run to a nearby station and get some gas. The son says Ok heads to the truck to leave and turns around comes back to where we're standing and said, I need your card. For what the father said? To use at the gas pump to get some gas. The obvious next question from the father. Why do think I gave you that $20.00. The son said he was wondering about that. Long story short, this 17-year old boy had never seen gas paid for with anything other than a card poked into the gas pump. His father explained the sequence to follow to pay cas and the boy left, but he looked like he was going to dread trying this new thing and he looked a bit confused at the same time. Now, full disclaimer; I like this family, all of them there is a wife, another son (younger) and you couldn't ask to live to nicer folks. Something is out of kilter with the young'uns from about 45 down to 1-month old. Are they strange, yes do I hate them? No. Observe people closely, you will see for yourself, some of what you see will be amusing and sad as well as almost every adjective in the book, but no reason to hate.
      Long reply, but I hope helpful.

      @@rayhoward363 I couldn't agree more. My own children have common sense. They had jobs and responsibilities. They knew how to treat people. That's how most people used to be. What I see today leaves my mind boggled. How will these people do anything in life? It's frightening. Also, I agree on Lewis Black. I went to see him and got to meet him. He has told stories for years and wanted to give others a chance for their stories to be heard. Everyone is invited to submit a rant. He reads a few (probably cleaned up grammatically and such) and yes, his telling makes it funnier. Lewis is a giver in many ways and in these cases, he's giving a platform for other folks to tell their stories. People like Lewis help me forget temporarily about people like banned pizza boy. EDIT: My children are in their late 20s and mid-30s, one special needs. They are an exception to your age group, yet I see what you see way too often. Special needs doesn't mean helpless.
